I'm a big fan of Monty Python and beside "Life of Brian"," Search for the Holy Grail" and their TV-show from the beginning of the seventies, I find and I really liked this part of the movie:

Monty Python: The Meaning of Life:
The Very Big American Corporation

Edited to correct link and a title.

I do believe there is a Gurdjieff 'quote' during the board meeting scene which ends with the proclamation that "people aren't wearing enough hats"

Yes indeed, it's a Gurdjieff concept.

This is why I thought I should post it.
Monty Python is definitely familiar with the teaching of Gurdjieff, or at least that's how it seems. :)

Here's a different video with them discussing the aftermath of the movie(also favorite):"Life of Brian".
There are 5 parts. It's interesting how they reacted to their own religious upbringing, and that they were attacked by almost every religious organization.

Enjoy the video! :D

:rotfl: Hee heee! great clip. I loved this movie. All of their movies are great. Wouldn't it be neat if they did another? I know they've all aged a bit; Maybe they could do a movie about a community of nutty seniors !!!

Oh then maybe you will like this scene :

I'm not so sure Lauranimal, they were fantastic in their day, but in the UK have matured in to a roll of "elder statesmen" of comedy.
Michael Palin makes some interesting and informative travel documentaries now,
John Cleese went on to make "fawlty Towers" that was very funny too.

Terry Gilliam, a co writer and the brilliant animator, has a film coming out soon "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" - a Faustian Style Tale , It looks good.
His movies have been quite moralistic, Brazil- a "big brother" type film typifies his style.

Life of Brian is my favourite, and timeless, I think organised religion didn't like it because it exposed their weaknesses through humour, a marvelous tool for the job
and quite often I find, those that takes themselves too seriously don"t ike being laughed at
