More iridescent clouds!

Iridescent/ rainbow cloud appeared over Santa Monica CA on January 4, 2016 around Sunset time. Perhaps this iridescent cloud could be a precursor to an anomalous natural event, such as an earthquake.
This article suggests that rainbow clouds have been witnessed just before apocalyptic earthquakes in China.

I did not noticed any other earthquake signs though.

Sorry for a very bad picture, it is from my cellphone. That bright spot is the iridescent cloud. It is not the Sun, and it is not the place where the Sun sets. The sunset was happening far to the right of this cloud (not shown on the photograph)
