Most interesting documentaries on Youtube

I was down the rabbithole trying to understand larpcore, AGC (Anti-Gacha Community), UUTP (UTube Troll Police), etc., when I got click-happy and ended up finding two documentaries about two old Christian kids shows that have almost been completely wiped off the planet.

Life with Grandpa is a Christian puppet show from the late 70s/early 80s. When the doc showed it, it felt so familiar even though I don't think I saw it, at least, on our tv. It was a direct to video production and only mailed out apparently. We certainly didn't have any of these videos and, while I could be attributing memories from a different show, it strikes me that I've seen this show somewhere. This was actually a production by the The Family International created by David Berg, who promoted pedophilia and incest as being a quality family practice.

Reading a bit from the wiki on Berg, this Epstein-esq sentence jumped out:

In the mid-1970s, Berg began preparing his followers for a "revelation" he had about Flirty Fishing, or winning important, influential men through prostitution.(15)(16)(17)

The robot-woman is just unbelievable. (42:31)

Joy Junction I have a vague memory of seeing. What I remember the most is the mouth of the puppet because it looks so strange. The doc goes from harmless to chiropractic instantly when it's revealed that two members of the show were hiding a secret Albert Fish style. (22:41)

This documentary originally came out in 2015 and was put on YouTube just two years ago.
"A Good American“ is a gripping docu-thriller about a groundbreaking surveillance program, the brilliant mastermind behind it and how a perfect alternative to mass surveillance was killed by NSA-management for money – three weeks prior to 9/11. Bill Binney was a brilliant cryptologist and long-time National Security Agency (NSA) analyst, since 1997 serving as Technical Director. Binney developed a sophisticated program named ThinThread for gathering data capable of providing clues, in real-time, of potential terrorist threats.Built-in safeguards would have prevented the massive surveillance methods later exposed by Edward Snowden. Why was this program killed off? And who was behind that? Friedrich Moser’s eye-opening and deeply disturbing documentary tells the complete story of Bill Binney and those, both inside the NSA and out, who backed ThinThread.
