The Force is Strong With This One
Today I was out to lunch with my Mom and we were talking about GMO's which lead to a different conversation about the Illuminati and the NWO; how they would like to reduce the worlds population and have a one world government and currency.

I have never spoken with her about the Illuminati before but her interest was peaked somewhat. I have only recently began taking to her about these types of "conspiracy theory" subjects; 9/11 truth and chemtrails to name a few.

I would like to link her some informative videos about the Illuminati so she can know that it isn't just a crazy conspiracy. I am currently on youtube looking for some good videos that aren't too long or report false things.

If you know of any good links I could provide her please let me know! I would like to have at least one person in my family who knows about these kinds of things besides me. I just want to find a handful of videos that she will actually watch.

Well firstly I would say the "Illuminati" specifically is a bit of a red herring. But if you want to help her understand how the Powers That Be operate, I would recommend her reading a few books - The Secret Team by Fletcher Prouty, The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein, and The People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn come to mind right away. Those will give her a rather strong idea of the type of people at the top of the power structure in the world and offer a kind of alternative history of the last century. Those are well-sourced, highly informative pieces of literature that really flesh out the real world that is hidden from the public view. I realize that those recommendations drift a bit from the subject you were discussing, but it's my opinion that focusing on things like the Illuminati or chemtrails or any other singular topic can lead people astray while the books above will give a powerful overview of the situation at hand in regards to the global control by psychopaths in the world today.
 
I agree, some good books you mentioned for her will inform her, but I have a suspicion that with her busy life she will not read them. She jut needs an "illuminati/NWO for beginners" so to speak.

I need to go one topic at a time with her in order not to turn her off to the idea of what is really going on behind the curtain. Maybe after she "wakes up"so to speak on what the elites are planning she may be more wiling to read some of these books.

I agree with Heimdallr and PoB about the mess that has been made of the subject by modern media these days. Dan Brown, Tom Hanks, and Ron Howard all referred to the Illuminati as 'scientists.'. This is patently incorrect as is shown by eyewitness Robison in 1798:
