Flat universe means it does not curve back on itself but stretches out into infinity (or "ends" somewhere, which makes even less sense).

Well, if we stretch interpretation hard enough and assume it was given to him by 4D entity, then yes, 4D must perceive our universe as flat as we perceive 2D world contained on A4 sheet of paper.

Not really. Measuring the 'flatness' of the universe is a well-known problem in physics. Current measurements show that it is either completely 'flat' (=infinite space in every direction) or that it curves back on itself over such a large distance that it is immeasurable with current instruments.

Ehhh, i was hoping for final shape of earth mystery disclosure.
Anyway in his case probability of hints from 4D is extremely low, he rather picks up the aetheric noise present around his room such as worries of his neighbors and people on the street, his own, maybe some dead soul or local energy imprints thus when looking for dead he may score around 40% (much hyped by tv and tabloids) but as a future or political prognosticator he gets well below 10%
So really im not sure what may be the purpose of following the guy other then doom porn entertainment, each of his vision puts his viewers on the verge of nervous breakdown and incur complete hopelessness, but then doom'n'gloom feeds negative entities so maybe there is 4D sts element after all
