my 3rd track - "What Banking is All About" (taste warning: dubstep)

UPDATE: now with music video!

i've made another music video for one of my tracks - check it out:

_http://youtu.be/Bf6XOC2Ddls

there is a copyright claim which was automatically filed right after uploading (google gives me the creeps).
the video is blocked in Andorra, Belgium, France and i can't remember the other country.
i've filed a complaint based on fair use, but that will take until february apparently.

let me know if it is blocked in too many places then i'll further 'disfigure' the footage in question and maybe sneak it by google's copyright golems. ;)

i've also created a playlist with 30+ documentaries which i think are important.

It was viewable from Canada.

That is quite the montage of back and forth points of view of our reality; its labors, manufacturing, consumption and waste cycles...

Thanks for your work!

May i ask why the topic of this track is banking ?

I really appreciate your idea because you are using music as an consciousness raising tool. It can touch much more people than a simple text or a conference. Showing Wall street towers, banks, misery, bullets in successive pictures may help people understand there is a direct link between international finance/banking system and the so sorry plight of the world. This is not obvious for those who lack financial/banking culture.

Strong message in this track. This is what the Bank Era is about. Thank you !

PS : have you created other committed soundtracks ?

That's some really good stuff! :D I have been partial to Reason over the years, but I think it is mainly due to the fact that it was the first software updated at the time to fully integrate with my Korg M50. In any case, I'm looking at Reaper right now after a search on it and it looks rather nice. Perhaps it is time for a change.

Thanks for the link to the video as well- nice work  Too bad most of the younger generation won't understand your artist alias unless they were around in the 80's. Are you using a midi pad for the drums or is it just samples inserted from the Reaper library?

@davey72: if you can't get it from the download link on soundcloud, you can grab it from the mega.co.nz link in the track description there (contains all 5 of my tracks, delete the ones you don't like)

@Shinzenbi: well the topic is banking because it is one of THE major reasons of our global enslavement. instead of working for US we spend our life energy working for THEM. people need to realize that. ;)
not sure what you mean by "committed soundtracks", but each of my 5 tracks has a central motive (surveillance, banking, psychopathy, etc.). i've only created videos for 3 of them so far.

@QuantumLogic: thanks! yes, reaper is really good. cheap, slim, stable and very logical/intuitive to use. the drums were not made with a pad, but just arranged by hand. the samples are from some collection or other (further layered and EQ'd of course). and yes, most kids these days won't get my handle. heck most people who grew up in the 80's/90's have never heard of that show. :)

appreciate the feedback, everyone!

AM presently listening to your track: Hats up to you, this is great work! And will likely reach broad audience! It is definitely a tool to use fairly mainstream types of sounds in order to get a message across. There is so much music out there today, that a person can get lost in the sea of sounds: But this piece stands out! Thank you for the up!!

thanks for the kind words, romochar & A Jay!

not sure how broad an audience i will reach since i'm not on any social network. ;)
all i hope for is that somewhere, someone with some real music skills will be inspired and run with the idea of "dance music with a message".

With "committed soundtracks" i mean that it conveys a message. It is more than a simple soudtrack for fun.

Well, there are others here who are on social media, so maybe there are some who would be willing to share these videos? You never quite know in the modern world of networks.
