My beloved friend companion dog has died today.

Shelly cheval,

So sorry to hear about Puck. Big Hugs to you and a virtual bunch of flowers. Hope you are bearing up. :flowers:

I am deeply sad to hear about the loss of your nice dog Puck. I also have an old dog that is about
to leave us any moment. So I can understand your sadness.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog Puck. Sounds like he had an exceptional doggie life with you.

Thank you all for your condolences. He had a wonderful life with a lot of acres to run free everyday here on the farm, rabbits to hunt, dig in the dirt, all the fun dog things that so many dogs never have, a nice bed, good food, animal, dog, and human friends--ten good years and then gone in a day. He was just starting to get really gray around his face. I am sad but have peace, and two other wonderful dogs too. thanks again
shellycheval

May he rest in peace {{{{Hugs}}}

Shelly, I am very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a member of the family, even 2D ones. I am sure that Puck had a very wonderful life living with you and guarding you and your property. He is now no longer suffering and is resting peacefully. :flowers:

My condolences to you shellycheval. It sounds like he had a great life and will be greatly missed by all.
Always stop to smell the flowers. Hugs to you :flowers:

My condolences shellycheval.

We used to have a springer spaniel too, she was always happy and eager to play. I've also been through that awful procedure of euthanasia with a dog, two times. The second time our dog fought with all its strength not to come inside the vet's office, I sensed that the dog knew she was going to have a 'lethal injection'. So, I had to carry it onto the table and hold it still when the vet administered the injection. Seeing those miserable eyes looking at me and then gradually fade away was one of the sadest moments in my life. :(

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. My parents are having their dog put to sleep on Sat, and so I feel your pain ShellyCheval. My thoughts and prayers go out to you...

Dear Shellycheval, My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved dog...In my lifetime I have lost many wonderful 2D friends and as hard as it gets, always remember the love and friendships that were given to you...Maybe do as I do, go out and get another Puppy right away...you would be surprised how fast happiness returns...great love to you Roger
