My father died. Here is my feelings...

It can take time, as Hildegarda said. I lost my grandmother almost 19 years ago, and sometimes it still feels like yesterday and I still miss her. But your life together is something that fortunately, you always carry with you, even though you can't see your loved one in the physical world anymore. :)

:hug2: :hug2: :hug2:

So true.

Big hugs to you and take care. :hug2:

Your account was very moving. In my experience the only funerals that were depressing were for people who were pathological and left a lot of damage in their wake. Or when someone dies before their three score years and ten. It's always sad for those left behind but if the life was well lived it can be a celebration.

I'm as well really sorry for your loss msante, many :hug2: for you and may your father rest in peace! Take care!

From what you describe, your father was a wonderful person. He was blessed with a long life and a good life that had both joys and hardships and touched many people. Also, departing peacefully in his sleep, at his home, can be seen as a blessing as well, especially for someone who has been ill. You are really lucky to have had his presence in your life.

These were my thoughts as well, msante. My condolences for your loss, and I also hope that your father has had an easy transition from this life. Take care :hug2:

I am sorry for your loss, msante. May your father look back at his life with joy and satisfaction now he is in 5D and going through a phase of contemplation.

I am really happy for you that you had your father the way he was in your life. You must have felt seen and secure, because of his love and respect for you. I think you will carry that with you for the rest of your life, like a force that lodges deep inside you. Well, that is how I imagine it.

All the best to you and your family. :hug2:

I hope that his soul (or his consciousness, or whatever survives death) is at peace, and that his belief are not an obstacle in his path "to the light" and in his next cycle.

This is my wish for your father too. I am very glad you shared a little bit about him with us, he sounds like he was a special man. There's not a "script" on how to feel when we experience the loss of one we love, so just let the emotions come as they may, and we are here for you :hug2: :hug2: :hug2:

Msante,
My condolences for your loss...

One of the things I've learned on this very site (Thank You All) and that I believe with all my heart is that the soul is immortal... I believe your beloved Father is in a far better place and he is smiling upon you now!

Best to you and yours always...

My condolences to you Msante. Your father sounded like a wonderful man and I hope he's at peace now. My thoughts are with you and your family :hug2: :hug2: :hug2:
