Hi all,
I have been a member of this forum for maybe two years now and only just found this music section. Amazing!!

I am a songwriter and find that I like to write about my views of the world. I record them at home using software/hardware with my computer. I have added the links to the songs here with lyrics, I hope you enjoy them.

I liked both tracks. The first [mechanical being] maybe could have used a bass guitar; the second [I'm out of the contest] reminded me a bit of George Harrison (in parts). Sentimental stuff that deserves attention!

Hi Bidoche, many thanks for the comments. I see from your pic you play bass. Were you referring to the intro of the song? The second song had some inspiration from Strawberry Fields with the left panned guitar. I wrote the song while going through an OK Computer month :D

Dingo, my low-frequency hearing seems to be disappearing of late (probably because of advanced age!) or maybe it's my hifi equipment that's in need of repair, but I couldn't hear any bass. The second song came out fine.

Ooops! I listened again, this time with the headphones, and there it was, although a bit low in the mix.

well i love bass, so I'll have know issues cranking it up a notch..i'll give it a blast through some other devices...cheers for the thoughts, much appreciated
