My newborn baby girl!

Thanks again everybody for the sweet comments! Everything is going well with the girl so far, we're adapting each other little by little.

You named her after me just so I couldn't be cranky about another baby being born into this god-forsaken world. Cunning plan. :hug2: She's here, so we welcome her, but with great misgivings. It makes it all that much more important for everyone to do all they can to pursue the aim. Not just for ourselves, but for our children.

Thanks Laura, I should say yes, that is the case. In an unconcious level I was worried about telling the news to the forum because all your recommendations about having babies these times, I felt negligent. I even consider not to say anything at all, but I couldn't do that because this network has become my real family after all.

But naming my baby after you it is a genuine act of deep admiration, besides that is a lovely name. One day (If we still are here), when she asks why we choose that name for her, I could proudly show her the work you´ve done for the benefit of mankind. Thank you.

Congratulations for your beautiful Laura Sofia !

Babies are a fundamental gift of life.
Whatever you may be feeling, fearing, believing, thinking, anticipating of this world, your baby is a positive take on life, imo.

It remembers me of a powerful movie from Brazil in the eighties, "A Vida Severina", when two poor and clever men are talking in a favella, about life and the hard times they are in, one of the guys having his wife on the verge of giving birth to their baby. Then a woman looking for them comes and say something like: "Hey you, why are you talking seriously, when your baby is just born ! Don't be so silly and just rejoice, this is the time to appreciate what life gives..."

May you have lots of love, strength and joy :hug2:

congratulations as well. And now that she is here, you can remember as well that you are giving her a chance to have a front seat in these amazing times and that you are offering a soul an opportunity to complete her lessons and her journey, and that probably she is going to help you guys complete yours.

Double ditto to that Laura. We have to pursue the aim for ALL children.
I'm the father of a once little girl (now a grown woman) and I still remember how awestruck I was over the fact that I was actually a part of bringing this beautiful little human into the world.
But at the time I was totally naive of the awesome responsibility it entailed.
In all honesty, knowing what I now know about this 3D reality, I would never have done it. But thank God she survived and even prospered, notwithstanding my own naivete and ignorance.
So yes, because of the Work and the knowledge you have imparted, it has also given me a sense of responsibility to all children.
Thank you for all of that.

A little late but, what a beautiful new addition to your family and sending you many warm blessing for the the future! :flowers:
