Hi dant,

For clarification, going from top to bottom of your post above the first link is dated July 2008. The second link is from January 2007 and the third link is also from January 2007. The last two links are about the same incident. :)

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

I think this mass deaths of animals, have to do with hyperdimensional battles going on. Just a floating opinion.

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

Esperance? Well now you know there is a main HAARP antenna very close to that location at NW Cape. Actually its not that close but may still be part of the problem.

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

I might suggest there may be a link between these incidents and the HUM Laura discussed in another thread.

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

The first thing that came to mind when I read these stories was the “canary in the coal mine”. I thought that if this happened to birds in the sky and fish in the lake, then what’s happening to every living thing in between.

Arkansas game and fish commission is suggesting that the deaths of the drum fish may be related to some kind of disease. But 100,000 fish seemingly all at once? And hundreds of birds falling out of the sky – all at once and at midnight? I wonder if we’ll ever know what really happened.

Here’s some of what I read:
“…At this time of year, blackbirds are in huge roosts, particularly throughout the southeastern United States, he said. They generally don't fly at night.

"In the course of a year, about half the birds that are around die -- even under the best circumstances. The life of a bird is brutish and short. But it just usually happens out of the sight of people," said Butcher.

It's possible that the loud sound that triggered the incident was New Year's Eve fireworks, though officials said the investigation is ongoing. "If it had been any other day of the week," Butcher said, he might have suspected people to be behind the deaths. "There's a lot of purposeful killings. ... People really don't like these big roosts. But I can't see anybody doing that on New Year's Eve."

Doug Inkley, senior scientist with the National Wildlife Federation, said his "first suspicion is that they were frightened and went into a mass panic." "I would call this event unusual," he said, "but not unprecedented."…

Keith Stephens, a spokesman for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, said the birds showed evidence of trauma in the breast tissue, with blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding. All major organs were normal.

Canary In A Coal Mine
Life for an actual canary in a coal mine could be described in three words - short but meaningful. Early coal mines did not feature ventilation systems, so miners would routinely bring a caged canary into new coal seams. Canaries are especially sensitive to methane and carbon monoxide, which made them ideal for detecting any dangerous gas build-ups. As long as the canary in a coal mine kept singing, the miners knew their air supply was safe. A dead canary in a coal mine signaled an immediate evacuation.
Even as gas detection technology improved, some mining companies still relied on the 'canary in a coal mine' method well into the 20th century. Other animals were used occasionally, but only the canary had the ability to detect small concentrations of gas and react instinctively.

What do you mean a "HAARP antenna"?

The HAARP antenna is an array, not just a tall radio tower.

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds - now in Sweden

Same thing, smaller scale, the link has a photograph but is in swedish:

It's essentially the same story as in Arkansas.

Mysterious Bird Death - Nearly 100 Jackdaws Found Somewhere between 50 and 100 dead jackdaws found in central Falköping. It was about two o'clock last night that police found the birds lying on Wetterlinsgatan. According to the police patrol who found them, several birds were hit by cars. But many of them had no physical damage at all. Birds fell from the sky In the United States, Arkansas, thousands of dead birds were found on the ground just before midnight on New Year's Eve, writes DN.se. Possible explanations for the deaths there is that the birds should have died of stress from fireworks or a storm that hit the area. But what happened in Falköping is still a mystery. County veterinary on the way Rescue Services in Falköping have cordoned off the area where the jackdaws were found in anticipation of the county administration that has sent veterinarians to the site to investigate the cause of death among the birds.

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

I didn't consider this until late last night, but could the wandering north pole have anything to do with some of these mass animal deaths?

This recent article talks about the north pole moving, but doesn't relate it to any other factors, of course.

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/220686-Why-is-The-North-Magnetic-Pole-Racing-Toward-Siberia-

It seems that the birds over Beebe were exploded out of the sky somehow, but there are a lot of other animal deaths going on around the world that don't fit this pattern. Could the meteor/fireball activity going on in recent weeks be distorting or manipulating the earth's magnetic field too?

Maybe this is another possibility...

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

Hi RyanX,
I don't know if a change in the terrestrial magnetic field can cause a sudden and very localized death for birds. If it was the case, the birds will follow a wrong route and die from exhaustion.
I remember having read in the late 80's in a sovietic digest (called "spoutnik" at the time) about some research about "ball lightnings", a sort of very localized electric discharges following a gas formation in the atmosphere. It seams that it was very common in the middle ages (where some people would see these electrical balls rolling in the streets and attacking houses or people - interpreted as the devil as it should), and i wonder if it is not related to some cometary activity at that time (disruption of the gaseous composition of the atmosphere + electric activity).
Here is an illustration i found in weakipedia:

Re: Arkansas game officials probe mystery of falling birds

Apparently the same thing happened on the same day in Bio Bio, Chile. Thousands of dead birds. There was also a 7.1 earthquake less than 100 miles from Bio Bio on that day.

The only solid reference to the birds in Biobio that I could find is this video with a somewhat distorted Spanish audio track.

edit: I now see that although not mentioned in this thread, this is mentioned in RyanX's article on SOTT: http://www.sott.net/articles/show/220954-And-They-March-The-Strange-Tale-of-the-Beebe-Blackbirds
