Nancy Lieder, who claimed to channel ETs (resembling standard Grays) from Zeta Reticuli, ran the ZetaTalk.com web site, which began broadcasting messages from the Zetas in 1995. The Zetas chief message was that Planet X (an alleged planet in our solar system on an extremely elliptical orbit) was going to come close to the Earth and destroy us all in May 2003. This was a variation on Zehcaria Sitchin's Planet X or Niburu theory, which was also promoted by a few others.
It was pretty amazing how she even gave astronomical coordinates for the presence of Planet X and explained away every reason why people couldn't see it -- including that it would actually become harder to see as it approached because it was hidden in a dust cloud. When total destruction of all life on Earth failed to occur on the given date in May 2003, Nancy vanished from the scene. Her site stayed up but traffic on the Yahoo discussion lists devoted to her messages dropped to nil. She had built up the anticipation of this disaster for eight years.
Apparently she began to resurface tentatively in late 2005 and more so in 2006. She is now a fixture, apparently, over on GodLikeProductions and producing a series of simple, yet slickly produced videos for the Internet that have the feel of a newscast. Her first one warns people about, yes, you guessed it, the approach of Planet X.

Mark Hazelwood, who allegedly took Nancy's "research" and spun it into a book, Blindsided, seemed to hang on a for a few months after the "big day" came and went, but I can't seem to find any sign of him now.
