New fiction book I have on Kindle

Samuel

Jedi
I just finished writing a fiction book, and have it on Kindle at: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GRJ2GM8

Here's a description of the book:

This is a story about two families and their beloved dogs and one cat on a ranch in Montana. Sammy is the main character, and Deanna, his most beloved girlfriend. She and the other gals, Janet, Joani, Saianna, and Nana, a black girl, are all artists. Sammy hooks up with Doni M, the brother of Saianna, and they play music in Hawaii and other hotels owned by Saianna’s Grandfather.
They have lived through all the incarnations necessary to bring them to this lifetime on an alternative Earth, where most people are of the Service to Others type. They have, in other words, learned the lessons that the Universe provides to help sentient beings grow into whatever kind of person they want to be, whether the evil type or the kind, loving and generous kind of being. The next step will be 4th density, where beings of all shapes and sizes, gather and experience life in a para-physical form. They can be physical or just exist as a thought, a dream like being, and engage in all kinds of playfull things, like go back in time and relive an experience or just wander the great and vast Universe and help others to achieve the things they have longed for.
The kids are all very smart, with IQ’s upwards of 170 and more, and they take on advanced degrees and give lectures on such topics as quantum physics and art. Mostly, though, they grow up teasing and playing with one another, swimming in the old ranch swim pond, doing their art and playing music. And they do have kids of their own. Janet is the first to have a little girl. Deanna eventually has two, Saianna, two, Joani, none, and Nana, a couple. Most of the children rearing happens in the sequel to this book, If We Could Go Back In Time.
This is a story about me, about you, about all of us that have the desire and longing to achieve something great and help other people in need, which seems to be the most dominant quest inside most of us: that we want to make sure others have the things they need to become what they want to be; to help those that are suffering around the world; to give to those that have little: to feed those that are hungry; and to help those that are depressed and suicidal because they have either killed or have seen other killed in horrible and suffering ways in senseless wars throughout the world.
Yes, this is the story about you and me, and our journey to the higher realms of the Universe. A journey that began yesterday, or maybe today, or maybe sometime in the future, and it is a journey that lasts forever. So, read the book, now, and let us all go Together Into Forever. ;D

Sounds interesting. You might want to take advantage of Amazon's promotional ability and give the novel away for a couple of days, try to encourage some folks to check it out and leave a review. (At least that's what I did for my novels, it seems to have worked.)

Just over $7 where I live, a bit rich for my blood :)

You think I should perhaps lower the price to how much.

Good idea. Think I will take advantage of their free book offer. How do I do that?

Thanks for the help! :)

Price is up to you, heck I was comfortable at 99 cents. I wasn't in it to get rich, but each author has their own motivations, for sure! Certainly I've read lots of good beginning authors at $4 or $5.

As for how to do it, when you sign into the kindle Direct Publishing site, enroll the book in "KDP Select", then once done you will have the option to add a "promotional period" of up to 5 days (your choice).

Forgive me, I can't actually find the option right now because I was enrolled in KDP Select but I'm not now, so I don't have the option available to me. The issue with KDP Select is you have to promise not to sell your book through other publishers while you're enrolled (ie 90 days), such as Kobo etc.

Hope that helps!

I don't know where you live but you have to count yourself lucky since where I live (The Netherlands) they're charging $ 10.89 for it at amazon.com
