New Madrid Fault Earthquake, Coming To A Theatre Near You (it could happen)!

This is a terribly interesting story, as well as one that may very well be just around the corner.
I mentioned the New Madrid Fault in an earlier post (many moons ago) this takes the whole thing to a new level. Did I say "whole thing"? I may have meant "hole thing", but enough of my bad puns.

This story tells of the potential devastation that will result from the New Madrid Fault when it gives way, also of someone's vision, and it all happens around the same time (end of April or May).

But the sick feeling I got in my stomach was due to the fact that FEMA is planning an exercise that
will simulate the catastrophic nature of a major earthquake in the central United States region of the New Madrid Seismic Zone, and it is scheduled to take place NEXT MONTH (May)!!!!

Remember 911, when the Military was doing an 'exercise' to simulate hijacked Jet Liners used as missle's against our Country? Doesn't this sound like the same thing? Maybe its just me, I'm probably getting a rep as a conspiracy theorist, but hey, someone's gotta do it!!!

Thanks for the links! I started reading the first one, and it jogged my memory from a couple years ago, I remember seeing lots of links similar to the ones you mentioned. I went thru my notes to look for one very SCARY article, regarding 500,000 DISPOSABLE COFFINS (Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, oh my!!!).

The location was just next door to Laura's old 'stomping grounds'. The first link I had was a Youtube video, but it had been deleted. The second one was there (the written article) but that video had been removed as well. I did a quick search, and found this one, that was much more revealing than the others:

Some of the other video's listed on the same page were just as scary. I probably saw at least some of these on the SOTT News page, and I apologize if these are all 'old hat', but they seem all the more relevant today.

That's usually the point of such material. Fear is food. Fear also stops thinking and discernment in its tracks. I would recommend cutting down on the time you spend reading conspiracy and disinformation sites - you're like a puppet on a string. There IS real danger out there - these sites prevent people from seeing it because they're pushed straight into a fear response.
 
Excellent Point! But that leaves me with one BIG problem:

I'm obviously not qualified to discern which is which. One of the links someone left, actually I think it was you, went to that very question, the link it self was dead, but there were a few preliminary questions (I'm pretty sure that was a post from Laura). Up until yesterday I thought Jeff's sight was solid. I found his sight from Laura's page, back around 2000. I don't trust MSM a whole lot, and it seems like all the alternate sights are of dubious quality (except this one).
I've read in the past that Alex Jones was found to be purposefully misleading. I guess you really gave me something to think about.

P.S. But I still feel this country has MUCH more destruction coming, and I'd be surprised if we DIDN'T have a BIG earthquake. So while I agree with your advice, I'm not clear on how to deal with this issue now. Maybe something will click if I sleep on it.

I am not sure if you heard of Major Ed Dames, but he used remote viewing to predict the next big earthquake at Madrid fault. That earthquake supposes to damage the nuclear plant there. Only time will tell if his prediction will come true. Hopefully it won't.
 
I don't think anyone is questing the fact that the New Madrid Fault is going to go at some point in the future - probably the relatively near future.

My point, Chang, is that there is a different between researching and spreading information for the elucidation of the reader and publishing things in a way that amounts to nothing but fear mongering. Can you really not tell a difference between the Sott site and this forum, and the others you've mentioned?

It may well be the next big quake but I can't recall anything Ed has ever predicted coming true.

I think the answer is 'No'. After reading your reply last night, I felt troubled, first, for being fooled by those that were trying to fool me, and secondly, I guess I was embarrassed for spreading false info. I honestly felt good about Jeff's site, if nothing else, because I found it thru Laura's website.

As a matter of fact, I remember the first day I found the Wave series.
I was in the IT office, and I emailed it to the IT Manager (the guy that was emotionally 14). He pretty much thought it was unbelievable from the get-go. I thought he was just making a hasty decision, and didn't give it another thought. There was something that rang true about her writing, although I can see how it could be interpreted as fiction, or whatever. So I followed that thread all the way up to this point. I thought the Forbidden Knowledge stuff was pretty much on the up and up as well. I guess what I'm trying to say, is some articles are tough to distinguish between truth or fiction. Then as one poster mentioned (I'm pretty sure this originally came from Laura) the fact that they throw in some true facts, mixed with falsehoods, makes it all the more difficult.

I'm hopeful that, now that I've had cold water splashed in my face, I'll at least be a bit more conscious of what I read, as well as the source.

As far as Major Dames, no I've never heard of him, but will check it out. I will say this, the fact that the Nuclear Power Plant in NY is only 15-20 miles from a known fault line, scares the ba-jeebers out of me. It appears they did these things on purpose, even though it was years and years ago. What a great freakin' plan that was!

I had a question and/or comment about your first post, but I'll comment later. We've got some decent weather up here, and my sweety loves the ocean, so thats the direction we shall go.

Hi Chang,

There is nothing we could do about the numorious nuclear power plants, nor earthquakes. Case in point, Japan. What we can do is keep working on ourselves, mind, body and spirit. Keep enjoying those beautiful days and and remain vigilant.

I suppose you are right, that there's not much we can do, but I feel that if I at least attempt to bring things to they're attention (I guess I'm referring to the public) I feel like I've 'tried' to help them, you know, the whole 'Knowledge Is Power" thing. I'm not comfortable sitting still (and quiet). One of the mantra's in the back of my head, was from the C's, when they mentioned 'networking'. If I can kick a few ideas around with people from different areas, I feel like I'm doing something, I think.

It may be helpful to look at whether "not being able to sit still and quiet" is an authentic drive you have or whether there is a program involved that makes you feel this way.

In general, I would say that if you do feel this drive to share and network about these ideas, it is actually very beneficial. The authentic drive is a sign that this is what you need to do - the drive comes directly from your higher self.

And besides, the C's talked quite often about the butterfly wings being able to have a major effect due to non-linearity etc.

Did the public ask for your help? What I am getting at is if you are truly sincere regarding this issue, then write a book. Research the topic to the max, make no assumptions just plain facts and then without anticipation, publish it and let it go. Otherwise, you will resemble 'chicken little' and the point you are working on may seem mute to those who you are trying to warn. We live in a "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" world and many do not want to know the truth about things.
