Tragi-comic Rome shouts down its Irish, Mexican, German parishoners and then gets called out.

I just recently watched Deliver Us From Evil. It tells the sickening story of Father Oliver O'grady (now quietly living somewhere in Ireland) who was moved from parish to parish in California carrying out his rapes of the faithful's children for two decades! Just going to the movie's site puts me in tears, not for myself but for folks I know who've had to endure it and the utter destruction of soul it can entail. I've also met courageous psychotherapists working with the victims and I think it says something that these religious scandals all end up citing the virtues of modern psychotherapy for sorting out the horrors the orthodox religions cast on their followers. Of course for the victims, psycho-therapy proves a significant aid to remedy, but I also find it fascinating that the Vatican has touted the virtues of psycho-therapy for dealing with its evil priests. Ted Haggert too and his wife, all over Oprah gushing about how psycho-therapy has saved them (what a gut bust).

Another aspect of the reports now out there on this latest Vatican scandal that I find interesting is that there is significant coverage. Yes it's sensational, but out of all the scandalous things going on, how does this Vatican scandal rate for such wide PR? Zionist controlled press taking pot shots at its peer elite-power adversary?

I saw this story on the news last night and can't say I'm shocked.

When the movie "Deliver Us from Evil" came out, I really wanted to see it. It was interesting that even In New York City, the movie was in very limited release and was only shown after 10pm. Eventually I lost interest and felt I would be really disturbed by the movie so never went.

Yeah, I had that same experience with it's movement through Seattle. I'm glad I finally mustered up the courage to watch it because the courageousness of the families telling their stories induced some sort of shift of awareness for me. And then a psychotherapist friend and I got to talking and I discovered she was on the front line of the rapist priest scandal breaking wide open in New England and she tuned me into Holy Water-Gate which apparently can be streamed here http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/holy_watergate/ (I provide that streaming link despite knowing some cannot take advantage as its a hard to find film).

It's half encouraging to see the productions of "Doubt" and "Our Fathers" as well but they really don't expose the insidious evil pulsing through the Catholic hierarchy and the devastating havoc it's wreaking on followers like "Deliver Us From Evil" does.

It makes me think of what was discussed in the thread about art, that Christianity had to be destroyed and villified.
The Catholic church certainly deserve to be seen for what it is but I also wondered about why the attacks are coming out heavily now ?

Wouldn't it cast doubt on the FOTCM as well with it's true Christian roots ?

It stresses the need many have for an authority - a church - to lead them. If we don't step forward, the "space brothers" will be only to willing to oblige.

OMG ;D, with the absurd rebuttles to abuse allegations the papacy has tried to assert, I think the relevance of Laura's questions couldn't be more apparent. Not only did we get Pope's Preacher: Accusations Akin to Anti-Semitism - The Backlash, but the Catholic News Agency actually posted "Satan behind media attacks on the Pope, asserts Italian exorcist".

And if i remember correctly, Douglas Reed in Controversy of Zion, mentions how the behind the scenes Zionist masters were throughout the ages in the process of destroying the Christian doctrine, right from its inception. Adding the Old testament God-with-vengeance stuff in the Bible, was one of the early plans that they accomplished. This reminds me what Laura wrote on The Beast Of Revelation http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/thebeast.htm, in particular this part:

"And one of his heads seemed to have a deadly wound. But his death stroke was healed, and the whole earth went after the beast in amazement and admiration."

This verse tells us that one branch, or department of the administrative body suffers an attack. This attack is clarified in verse 14 which describes the wound as being inflicted by a sword -- a military action. Note that the verse says "seems" to have a deadly wound. This tells us that this event leads many to think that it is a death stroke and will finish the beast. Yet, the empire/beast recovers quickly and goes on to lead, and be adored by, an admiring world.

This morning while delivering the local paper I noticed this article in "The Globe and Mail" which is Canada's
National Newspaper.

What affected me most was one sentence: "the incidents occurred in a Polish community and their reverence for
the priesthood prevented them from laying criminal charges"!!
The priest was later promoted to the Vatican.
Also most bishops in Ontario knew about this priests problems.

Right, the interpersonal conflict between adherent and charlatan seems forefront. Various news outlets I've come across today have featured a story about how the Pope is willing to meet with abuse victims.

This is like the later part of the movie "Deliver Us From Evil" where Father O'Grady finally quietly exiled to Ireland is more than happy to perform his best repentant act for the camera showing how he's written letters to his victims welcoming them to come visit him in Ireland so they can have one big group hug and let it all out. The flabbergasted dismissal the recipients receive those invitations with seems a natural response, and therein poses the question to me about what the appropriate reaction is to an abusive authority actively exploiting compassion to ensure their power.
