New years eve sexual assaults in Cologne - a psyop?

Recently I saw in the news there was a wave of sexual assults in Cologne, the vast majority of which appeared to be of "north african ancestry".

What's of particular import is the emphasis on these criminals being assylum-seekers, as evidenced by a police chief in Cologne being let go for suppressing, misrepresenting or downplaying the fact that the majority of these were refugees.

Merkel's response to this has been to propose tough laws to make it easier for refugees deported. Currently a refugee has to be convicted and sentenced to at least 3 years to be eligible for deportation. In the proposed plan, conviction of even minor offenses can make a refugee eligible for deportation. Obviously it goes without saying there will be more police presence, as well as more racially-profiled stop-and-searches.

That this whole thing came out of nowhere on NYE really reeks of a psy-op to me by Daesh's agents. What better way to bait racist rhetoric than to declare the hordes of refugees are coming after their women?

The situation certainly does have a psy-op flavor to it. The current mayor, Henriette Reker, was stabbed back in October for her 'pro-refugee' stance. At the time, she was acting deputy mayor and was responsible for taking refugees in and providing aid. Two other politicians were wounded in the attack also.

There are some rumors that professionals most likely have done it or planned it, beside that similar things happened in Hamburg and also in Oslo as I remember. There were bomb warnings for 2 Munich stations (Central Station = trains and Pasing = local public transport) in the same night. Police evacuated these stations for a couple of hours.

Besides Cologne there were similar attacks to women in other European cities in the same night. Some of the groups were quite huge for decisions of single persons or small groups.

One cannot say, what is the truth behind this from these reports in mass media. And emotion is growing against refugees and there will be changes in the law here in Germany because of this.

Germany:
Cologne (Central Station): about 1000 Arabs and African looking men attack dozens of women and stealing things (90 offences were reported to the police)
Bielefeld (Boulevard) "several men" molested women
Hamburg (Kiez) sexual molesting of women (27 offences were reported to the police)
Stuttgart: about 15 darkhaired men with "Arabic appearance" grouped around 2 women and stole things

Austria:
Salzburg: A few "Afghans" molested women sexually and stole things

Finland:
Helsinki (Central Station) about 1000 "asylum seekers" attack women; first time something like this that happened in Helsinki

Sweden:
Kalmar (public place) about 15 young women attacked by men


I think there was and is something strange happening here.

And here in Belgium, this has given the government the idea that refugees need 'lessons about how to respect women'. When you see how women are treated in general in Belgium, the little or no punishment men receive for assault against women, for rape, etc., you just got to laugh. Oh the irony.

An English lady friend of mine was brutally sexually assaulted and was only spared a brutal rape by the heroic actions of her boyfriend. He was stabbed whilst fending off her attacker. For his trouble he was arrested for assault, we passed round the hat and got him safely back to England. The perpetrator was left to continue being an arse hole. A frustrated cop told me that they were ordered to be lenient on them. This was 21 years ago.

Not at all surprised at the events in.Germany, things will only get worse.

To me, all these looks like stereotyping/generalisations. It clearly also sets the stage of us vs them. I think that there is some truth that a huge influx of refugees/migrants into any area leads to discord/friction with the local population. The issue is confounded when you add into the mix cultural/religious differences.

I agree. Brewer, frankly, I think you have fallen for the anti-Muslim propaganda. I'm not saying that those immigrants are 'holy' and that there are no scumbags among them of course, but what you wrote seems like the typical mix of half-truths, rumors and admittedly bad events that get mixed with stereotypes and are then applied to a whole ethnic group. Add to that possible agents provocateurs, already brewing right-wing movements (often with shady connections to powerful people) and you have a classic divide-and-conquer tactic. We should not fall for it! It's not the Muslims, not the immigrants that are the problem. It's psychopaths, particularly those in power. Also, while of course it's legitimate to be outraged about this women-molesting incident in Cologne and other such incidents (no matter whether they are committed by Muslims or white people!), we should see this issue in a broader context. For example, one of the ugliest topics that nobody seems to really care for are the pedophile rings in 'high circles'. Then there's women trafficking, and the horrible, horrible porn and prostitution industry (did you know that the founder of PEGIDA had shady connections to the red light scene?). And there's the horrible porno-alization and sexualization of society which probably has a lot to do with how ugly women are treated, and these things are definitely NOT organized by Muslims!

I just would be careful with all those anti-Muslim stories out there ('You know what happened to XYZ? Listen to this story...' 'Did you know that they receive XYZ Euros cash, which they use to buy beer?' etc.), and it's really important these days not to fall for black-and-white thinking and imagining dividing lines that are just a distraction. It's not the immigrants. It's the psychopaths, whether Muslim or not. And I'm sure the white psychopaths who run 'the West' are the far bigger problem than the Muslim psychopaths.
