News from Blacky

Hi Loreta, thanks so much for giving us an update on Blackie. I can't believe a whole year has passed! I have thought of him often and wondered how he was doing, especially with your big move. I would imagine he feels like he's in doggy heaven these days. A lovely story for a boy in his twilight years. I hope you are all feeling a bit more settled now. :hug2:

Hi loreta. It seems you are both blessed to have found each other! We can learn so much from our four legged friends. It sounds like Blacky has grown to trust you this past year and feels comfortable in his loving home. I`m wondering if you are using the flash when taking his picture and maybe that causes him to be camera shy? :scared:
Best wishes to you and Blacky! :)

Hi Nancy, no, I am not using the flash. He just see me to take the phone or the camera and he gives me his back or simply leaves the room where I am. I have just pictures of him that do not really shows how really he is. Like this one.

Loreta, I can see quite clearly from that photo that Blacky is incredible. What a beautiful dog. Give him a kiss on the nose for me would you?

hello everyone:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRaPVTetseI

As requested by loreta, it is always helpful when people give a bit of description when they post links.

This one has already been posted and you can find it here.

The search function is our friend. ;)

Here is a picture of Blacky that is ok. Because of the sun on the patio he did not saw me to take my phone, so that's why I was able to take a picture of him! ;D

That's sneaky, Loreta. You should join the paparazzi!

He's a gorgeous boy.

Awww he is just gorgeous! Thanks for the pic loretta. I'm so glad that he was rescued (my puppy is also from the animal shelter) and that he is loved and well looked after now. I don't know if you have tried Bach flower Rescue Remedy- I have used a few drops in Rosie's water bowl from time to time. In my experience it definitely does help with stress and trauma.

Just ran this picture through my gallery and zoomed in on him, he is absolutely gorgeous and so healthy, you have done a wonderful job with him Loreta, you must be very proud of all of your loving work :flowers:

I just came across Blacky´s wonderful photo and I´m glad to hear about her ongoing progress. And her healthy gut feeling against paparazzis, what a crazy stuff, I had a good laugh! You were also lucky to find a home with a terrace right in the city for Blacky and her playmates, balconies are rather scarce around there.
