newspaper job

hello editors and mods,
I am at my jobfind centre and there is a job for a journalist with a local paper
I did sign up for sott.de editor and the translation group a while back but have not realy contributed anything( exept what Rian X maybe gleaned of my FB posts)
so my question is can I mention this in my resume and how can I put it?
I will be writing my application in about 3 hours
can anyone please give me some advice on if this apropiate
I think I will also email the group in case you guys are not awake atm

It depends on what the job involves. For a job as a journalist, I think the employer would want to see some evidence of your writing skills first and foremost. I'm not sure citing Sott.de editing and translating would be that relevant. In what way do you think you would present your Sott and translating experience? And what does the job actually involve?

not a problem anymore
I did not get the job anyway, I don't think I had a chance anyway but the jobfind network are big on sending applications
I have just started a study course in Film and Media which keeps me out of trouble with social security and the jobfind people for the next 6 month and it is very interesting to boot
