- Hi everyone
OK I'm not sure where to start this thread so I'll start it here in hopes for some insight, and someone can show me some things to read. I have had two incidents within the past three weeks during sleep. The first was about two weeks ago I was sleeping and was awakened by some strange feeling that I was being watched, I woke up in the middle of the night and felt very insecure of my surroundings my girlfriend was asleep and i felt like i was in a daze... I fell back asleep, woke up 20 Min's later and felt scared like i was being watched or controlled... and i was trying so hard to force myself out of bed and couldn't do it...
I somehow have a similar experience
It may sound really off
This is difficult to describe, but I try to do my best.
A few weeks ago I had a dream that I was sleeping on a couch. I didn’t really observed the room. My body was turned against the couch. I remembered how tired I felt. All I want to do was sleeping. On a sudden moment I noticed a presence behind me. Something was talking against me, I tried to understand for a short moment what it was saying but I just couldn’t make any sense of it. I did wanted to turn my body around to see what was happening. I tried but couldn’t – and repeatedly felt back in my ‘sleep’
Suddenly after ‘fighting’ a while with my body in my dream. I woke up. My eyes where wide open. Like they weren’t closed at all. My body was turned against the wall of my room. I still heard this presence behind me, so I immediately turned around.
Well- I clearly saw a figure, it was really small. As I lied flat on my bed, my head slightly was turned up. I only could see it’s torso. And a part of it’s his legs. It’s body, it seemed it was not solid. Like it existed out of light. You partly could look right through it. As for where it was standing. Just against my bed. It only took a second or 2 before I out of response put my arm towards it. Than it disappeared in, It just disappeared like it’s lights inside where slowly turned out. I clearly heard something cracking, it sounded electronically - inside my right ear when it, well disappeared.
and i fell back asleep the third time i was dreaming (it felt like i was at least ) and i was panicking and freaking out and i told myself to start breathing (EE) and then i woke up and screamed aahhh!
I can imagine your fear! A few days ago I went to bed at a very late time. Everyone was already asleep. So laying on my bed I tried to fall in sleep. When I almost was. I suddenly heard a huge bang outside. I really was shocked but just tried to fall in sleep again. Than moments after it I again heard it only a lot times harder. I was in such a panic that I also had to scream.
I don’t think I was ever that afraid. I mean to actually scream of fear. It was really intense.
So I fled my room and went to my dads. I just couldn’t stay alone. Actually he just slept right through my screaming. So I made him awake. Told him mine story.
He looked annoyed but I guess I really saw that I was dead-serious. he told me it was the snow falling of the roof against the gutter.
- Actually he was right. I checked it out by my window it where just huge pills of snow falling off the roof and making a huge bang.
That was all.
Anyhow I couldn’t fall right back to sleep that easily. All of the high-strangeness I had in my life really kept me awake. Especially that experience of mine I told.
At the moment when I underwent it I guess I just partly dissociated from which I was truly feeling, I was really calm at that moment. But when I through about it. rethinking that situation. It really left me shocked.
- BTW Concerning this I really think that
DanielS has some great advice.
