No Longer Interested in Sex

Here's an interesting question: during the days of 'hedonism', high sex drives, promiscuity, etc., were carbs/sugar on high intake (directly, and/or indirectly via breads, pastas, etc.)? I have a theory that for where carbs/sugar doesn't fatten an individual physically (not everyone bloats up, for instance), it alternatively causes one's aura/energy to be more edible, 'fatter', or basically, 'sweetened'.

Hi Skyalmian, If I understand your idea for a diet high in carbohydrates me raises the libido at 100%, so to speak, when I made the transition to the ketogenic diet, note a significant drop of my sexual desires, I think that's a yes, a diet sugar, certainly increases the libido, at least in my case.

In my case it's mainly nuts that do this. The pun is purely coincidental.

I've heard that dietary fiber can cause increased sex drive because the large stools put pressure on the prostate. So next time you feel the urge, consider that it may be nothing but...

I suppose it's important to think of your ACTUAL needs and responsibilities and put them first, and less useful things last... Restraint in this sense improves sexual sanity in my experience.

Just found this for you Skylamian, to somewhat conclude your theory :)!
Its from a thread called 'Predicting a hit regarding men losing most of their sex drive';

Q: (L) Now, I was just reading in "Bringers of the Dawn" about male energy and female energy and it says: "We have said that the male vibration will transform in a very short period of time. We will not tell you why or how because some of you will consider it to be entirely too ominous, however, we will say that as the waves continue to come there will be a unilateral rising of consciousness within the population. At a certain point, when men are in the deepest point of mastering feeling, the feeling center will be activated. This will either occur gently or it will be blown wide open." What will be "entirely too ominous?"

A: Energy redirection.

Q: (L) Energy direction is going to happen and that is what you are saying is the ominous thing here?

A: Overview.

Q: (L) Well, what does energy direction specifically mean? What kind of energy?

A: Sexual.

A: [...] Men will lose most of their drive in favor of more spiritual pursuits. It is the sex drive that is at the root of most of the historical aggression and lack of feeling on the part of the male.

In some discussions spread around the forum - I recall seeing it in The Swamp - other men have noted that transitioning to a ketogenic diet causes a distinct decrease in sex drive.

This has implications: It seems that the present "norm" - what is considered normal for, at any rate, young men - may well be based on how men function as a result of an unnatural (agricultural) diet. Perhaps as a result of a resulting chemical imbalance, which may also have other psychological consequences. (Meaning there may also be other "normal" aspects of psychology that really aren't - which may go for both men and women.)

If the world is going to through a collapse of our present global civilization and its infrastructure, with cometary bombardment, the onset of an ice age, and a drastic reduction in population, etc., one might think that people - those that remain - will be forced to return to a ketogenic diet.

And this, then, may well in turn result in the C's prediction coming true in a natural way, as a result of biochemical changes impacting psychology.
