Not allowed to look up profiles

Hello,

I have a question concerning looking up profiles of other members. I'm not allowed to do this. I don't know why and at the beginning I was able to look them up.
I actually wanted to write a PM to a mod but this doesn't work either because you have to have access to the profil...

For the question why do I want to have a look at the profile of others, I can say:
Sometimes I don't know whether the author of the comment is male or female and for quick clarification this can help - sometimes.
On the other hand, if I want to know whether a certain member has posted something new I can look that up.

I hope and I'm sure someone can help me and explain me what's the reason. But this doesn't help me very much to get started in this forum, cause I have the feeling I'm regarded as suspect.

Hi Paradigma,

Until you reach 50 posts, you will not be able to view other members profile. Check out the thread that RickyW mentions above. In the meantime if you need to contact a moderator, use the "Report to moderator" link at the bottom of all posts. :)

Paradigma, also note that you are not regarded as suspect, no more than any other person who is new or who has made posts which adhere to the forum rules, which I am sure you have.

Oups, I missed that one. I was wondering. I understand now the reason of the "An error occurred".
Personally, I liked to look at the country of the members. I'll be patient...
