Obama - Romney

The German media write: Obama has bigger chances than Romney to win(get) a war against the aliens.
If there is this statement, I imagine that there will be a strong clarification of the public(public opinion) on the subject Aliens before the American choice. Which is why does the subject Aliens become just now on an election campaign subject if it was never relevant for other elections?

Perhaps the German media think the only person that could beat the aliens is a psychopath which is certainly the case with Romney while Obama is "merely" schizoidal :)

It is to be seen interesting that before this choice in the USA suddenly the aliens are a subject. Here in Germany the subject Aliens and UFO is called more and more frequent. Are these maybe the preparations(prearrangements) on a big publication?
Obama is not only schizoid for me, rather a mad(crazy) machine. Romney I cannot arrange yet, because we have insufficient information in Germany.

Jean,

Do a search for Romney in sott.net

Once you've read about him you'll see that he is completely lacking in those traits we use to define ourselves as "normal" humans.

It's strange that the German media would bring up aliens with regards to Obama. Whether he's a psychopath or not it's clear that he at least solely serves 4D STS interests. Romney certainly appears to be a psychopath. So there's not really a "choice" between the two as they both serve the same masters.

Unsurprisingly, it seems that German media is spreading disinfo.

It would be very strange if that article was in isolation. Not being there I can only surmise that it is in response to increased talk or writing about aliens. One thing we all give to the Germans is that they're very pragmatic. If they, or at least a large number of them, have decided the evidence falls on the side of aliens and UFOs being fact I doubt there's very much that will stop them discussing the issue.

It could be disinformation or it could be drivel by yellow journalism or it could be the latest fad. It would be interesting to see if anything develops and it becomes a national debate.

I don't think the U.S. media is taking this very seriously.I did a quick search and found only one article. Before this thread,I had never heard of this issue as being part of the election debate. Although I don't think either candidate is going to go out and campaign on how they would protect the U.S from aliens, it would certainly liven up the debates if they do.

I think the article was making fun of the 30 million Americans who responded to the poll and said that they believe in UFOs.

I deduced that the tone of the article is mocking due to the following quote from the article:

While many might assume such trivial factors would have no effect on an election, you better put on your space helmet and think again
The poll was conducted by National Geographic to generate interest for a television program on their channel.

Election years are chock full of polls and surveys, ranging on topics from platform favorability to public approval and even candidates’ good looks.

A recent one done for National Geographic introduces a whole new category, however – extraterrestrial defense!

If the United States were attacked by aliens, about two-thirds of voters think President Obama would do better than Mitt Romney in defending the country.

While many might assume such trivial factors would have no effect on an election, you better put on your space helmet and think again – 36 percent of the population believes in UFOs. Roughly 30 million Americans claim they’ve seen an alien spacecraft, too.

Conducted by Kelton Research, the survey was conducted in promotion of Chasing UFOs, a new series that premieres on the National Geographic Channel this Friday at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

FWIW it isn't an entire German news article, but a poll made by the National Geographic Channel, where it is stated that about 36% believe in UFOs and 65% believe that Obama could fight an alien invasion and is more competent than Romney:

It is totally crazy. The USA sinks into need and misery. At the same time changes the subject the statement of Obama about the acceptance of the homosexuality and his victory chances about aliens of all problems.
The German (90%) the water stands up to the neck(throat), the country is to blame with more than 2 billions. Here one discusses care money for children that nobody needs(requires). Madness
