The Living Force
This is truly a momentous day here in Ohio!!! The new Ohio No Smoking Law goes into effect. A while back. voters approved a smoking ban and was supposed to go into effect last Dec. 7 2006, but up until now the state has not enforced it while officials hashed out how to enforce it. Establishment owners can face up to up to $2,500 USD in fines for multiple violations. And of course, let us not forget the individual smokers that could get fined up to $150 USD. There are some exceptions to the rule. These include tobacco shops, some private clubs, designated hotel rooms and enclosed areas of nursing homes. So let’s get excited fellow Ohioans and don’t forget to call in your neighbor, or anyone else you don’t like @ telephone number 1-866-559-OHIO (6446).

Isn’t this just slamdamn wonderful ???
All this drama just makes me wanna proudly stand up straight, click my boot heels, raise my hand, and yell out Sieg Heil ! ! !

I gotta tell ya a little observation of mine. The law was passed last December 2006. I was hanging out with some blue collar guys, all smokers. A bunch of real stereotypical Joe SixPacks. They just could not understand how this law passed. ‘How could this happen?’, they all whined. I threw out two possibilities. Either the voting was rigged, or the lazy-ass smokers didn’t vote. I offered to them that I voted against that law, another guy said that he voted against it too, and the rest of them remained silent. So many are the similarities to what I read of the Nazification of Germany, and the ‘here’ and ‘now’. Bad things are blowing in the wind…

That's downright disgusting. It seems they are going to torture us and torture us until we begin to fight back, but that is probably what they want. When that begins, they can start rounding up everyone. By that time, it may be illegal to walk or even drink water.

One of the articles posted on SOTT, can't remember which one now, talked about one country that has already happened in concerning water. Anyone who collected water from the sky was a criminal.

I can envision in the fog in my mind:

Dig a secret hole in the house basement, install a smoking room replete with
smoke filters, heat recycling, exhaust pipes with automatic thermal equalizers,
Hand crank lighting with rechargeable batteries, inside locking bomb-proof doors,
Special locking safe containing lighters, fuel, precious tobacco and emergency food
rations, washing machine and shower room to remove any tobacco traces with water
filtration systems...

WHOA! ... am I in Nazi Occupied territory!?!? :/

I wonder if the revival of the Prohibition days will be returned
with 'Speak Easies" as in the days of Al Capone with the difference
being smoking instead of drinking...
