online passwords and security

Yeah, thanks a lot for the lesson, SAO! This sort of stuff is really fascinating to me.

Also, I just remembered another comic from the same site that's relevant as well. It goes into tangent in the last half though.

So that's another way that folks like "San Francesco" and his ilk can get people.

A good (and fun) method to generate strong passphrares and yet easily retainable by our feeble minds is the Diceware method _https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diceware

Cool info, Polonel and ShadowSelf! It seems the weakest part of any password is always it's owner, in some way or another.

"Knowledge protects!"

I may have to start revamping my passwords, a tricky task since I don't write them down! All this info will help.

in the month of May, there has been technol difficulties on over the world wide internet(web) It happened to me too today, I was at Government office and they said they couldn't give me print me my appointment cause the Government system scheduling device wasn't available, That it was unavailable not working all this week. And I live in Houston, TX.USA. Basically they told me they would mail my appointment through via The postal Service. Blessings From me to you. 5-31-2012

Thank goodness we still HAVE a Postal Service at this point!! For how much longer? I guess when it is gone we can spend $10 for a UPS or Fedex envelope to send what now costs around 50 cents.

Undermining the different modalities of infrastructure will ultimately cause many problems.
