Ordering Wave series

Hello all I have some questions/concerns about ordering the Wave series. In my intro I stated that I've only read the Cassiopaean Transcripts. I know now that it's better to read the Wave first, so I want to continue reading and move on to the recommended book list. I've decided to order all 6 books and Amazon only has 1-4 it seems, so my options are Redpillpress and Qfgpublishing.

Redpillpress offers all six for a discount price and ships from Canada. I'm unfamiliar with the Worldpay service and don't want to set up an account. It seems like there are a few fees to get it running. So I'll probably use check or money order. RPP has an estimated delivery of two weeks.

QFGpublishing doesn't offer the books as a bundle and has more shipping so they're more expensive. They're based out of Colorado it seems and the shipping is more though. I've heard from some threads that QFG takes a while to ship too. However, I've always assumed you were buying pretty much directly from QFG, so it benefits the authors more. It says on the site that the profits benefit the QFG. I was wondering what the payment choices are for QFGpublishing, are checks/money orders accepted?

So RPP costs less and will be delivered sooner, and QFG costs more and delivers later, but it benefits more those that have contributed a lot of energy into this work. So I'm leaning more towards ordering from QFG, to be more in service to others. I'll be using more money and having to wait longer, but I will be able to give back and balance more what I've received. I'll just have to find something to read for a few weeks I guess. Perhaps some of the longer posts here can tide me over. I want to stay focused and have something to read and gain knowledge. I'm aware that it's not all cramming and not retaining the information, you must understand and act on your knowledge. Perhaps I can also act on some of the knowledge I've gained here pertaining to the Work until I come to actually reading the material and really get into it. I just don't want to be left with nothing substantial to be working on and not waste too much time. But time really doesn't exist as we perceive it, so can you really waste it? It seems a lot of decisions are choosing between the self and others, STS and STO, so here I can choose others over myself.

So that's basically my predicament here. Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'll leave your ordering questions for others with more knowledge than I to answer.

In the meantime, you can start reading right away by taking advantage of the online version of the Wave series, which can be read here: http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/waveindex.htm

Adventures With Cassiopaea can be read online here:

Hello 3D Student,

To the best of my knowledge, Red Pill Press and QFG Publishing are essentially one and the same. All proceeds go to support the QFS and all associated sites here. I have ordered from both and have zero issues with the payment methods. It is your decision as to which site you order from. I think the shipping costs are related to where the books are actually shipped from.

One thing I would mention, is you can order from either site and receive the material you are wanting. But supporting the efforts of these sites and all the people who make this possible is a wonderful way of ensuring we can all continue to receive the benefits and knowledge provided to all who seek this knowledge.

FWIW,

gwb

Thanks PepperFritz and gwb1995 for the quick replies. I didn't realize that they were both the same basically. I guess I'll consider RPP more then since they both support the team here and I'm still not sure about QFG's payment options. Perhaps I'll read the Adventure series while I wait for finding info about ordering. Also, does anyone know if it's okay to save or copy The Wave or Adventure series and putting it on a portable device for personal reading? I have a PSP and like to do this for reading at work or away from a computer.

Hi 3D Student,

World Pay is just another division of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and the account that you are asked to sign up is not with World Pay but with QFG Publishing. The privacy policy there states:-
Quantum Future Group inc. has NEVER and will NEVER share ANY personal information with ANYONE about our clients and contributors.
World Pay just processes the credit card payment for QFG Publishing and I presume they take a cut as well from the sales excluding the annual fees that one pays to set up an account with them to accept online payments through them.

Hi 3D,

I formally went as puttnit2gethr but decided to come back down to Earth as something simple again, but anyway I've also ordered from both QFS and RPP and didn't have any problems at all. You are right tho, one of them did take a lil longer to deliver than the other but it was well worth the wait. The Wave series was really excellent reading for me. I'm currently on Gurdjieff's Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson and man is it killing me! lol. My mind must really be programmed or something but he does suggest to read it thru 3x and I'm just starting so it should be a while.

And Vulcan is absolutely right, WorldPay just takes your money. You shouldn't have to set up any account with them. BTW.. I didn't realize you could move online reading to a PSP. Do you just transfer it over as a file or do you have to get it online and download it somehow? Sometimes at work, I can't bring my laptop with me but I might be able to bring my PSP.

I ordered several books from the RPP site, and it only took a few days, maybe 3 or 4 to get to me (SoCal). I do believe they were shipping from Colorado, but it was very quick. I used WorldPay with no problems at all.

On a side note, I am rereading the Wave Series in Book form (I read most of it on the site before), and I have to say that for some reason, it seems much more impactful to me. I feel as if I am "getting it" more. Laura's foundation and commentary are fantastic. What has startled me is that a great deal of predictions that the C's have said have come to fruition, although I am not sure if I am looking too much for similarities in what they said in 1994/1995 and evenets that took place in the recent past. One "Hit" that really took me back was the "California's economy crumbles", or something to that effect, by which the state is basically bankrupt! I am trying not to focus on the small things and keep looking at the big picture.

In any case, I feel that reading the information in book form, as opposed to on line, enables more absorption and comprehension of the material, at least for me. I have read The Secret History of the World, and now in the process of the Wave Series in book form. Big thanks to Laura and everyone for all the time put into these books. I am happy to spend the money and have these amazing works on my book shelf, as well as give some support to the group. The next stop is Gurdjieff's works after I finish up the Wave Series. ;D

Just fyi - volumes 5 and 6 are available through Amazon - https://catalog.amazon.com/abis/detailPage.amzn?asin=1897244339  and  https://catalog.amazon.com/abis/detailPage.amzn?asin=1897244312 though there is no 'bundle pricing' due to the fees Amazon charges the seller.  Orders made through www.qfgpublishing.com are shipped Priority mail in the US, so they arrive within 3 business days, thus the shipping/handling charges.  Amazon orders ship more slowly, usually arriving with ten business days, thus the lower shipping costs. Orders from www.redpillpress.com do ship from Canada and do take a while to arrive - not sure what the current delay is.

(Amazon is currently updating a glitch in the volume 6 listing)

Thank you all for the responses. It's nice to know you don't have to sign up for the Worldpay thing then. Hmm, if QFG delivers in three days that would be nice. And it seems upon further searching on Amazon that they do indeed have the other Wave books :P.

Hello again Pete/Puttnit. Yeah the PSP is the cheapest solution for a "reader", though it takes some converting and the image you view has to be zoomed to read. Basically you can get a pdf to image converter, the one I have is called IntraPDF. It will convert an acrobat file to several .jpg images you can view on your PSP. To get a webpage on your psp you can copy the text and paste it into a word processor or just File-Save Page As and then print it as a .pdf (I think the pdf printer comes with the free acrobat versions and you just print the document and select pdf creator as your printer.) Then convert the .pdf page into multiple images to read on your PSP. I think if you hack your PSP you can get custom programs on it to view ebooks and other files directly, but I'm ok with this method for now.

Several times members have asked regarding keeping a copy of the Cassiopaea site, and/or making such available in the future should the site eventually cease to be available - no response as of yet to either. In short, with the keeping of a copy of contents without further distributing it, there's no stopping you and nobody seems to care - and you'll not be the first.

Hi 3D,

Thanks for the info on that. I'll give it a look and see what happens. If I have any problems I'll know who to call! :D

Thank you Csayeursost for the info, I just wanted to make sure it's ok, because I remember the Cass team running into copyright issues. Yeah, I've read the threads about backing up the site, but it does seem like it would put a lot of stress on the bandwidth.

Hey Pete02 no problem, good luck with your file conversion :P .
