lol, well let me just clarify something - I meant novice in respect to Ouija boards only ;)

In the proper way of course.

dancing duck said:Thanks Redfox. Everything you say pretty much hits the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned. I'm coming round to the idea that even needing to experiment with things beyond traditionally accepted realms is perhaps a slightly naive, even immature approach to take. I have just started Amazing Grace and as you say, it's extremely informative and instructional. Almost to the point of making my own Ouija board experiment seem irrelevant - such is the wealth of information.
Obviously I have no NEED to experiment with the ouija board - it's more a desire for first hand experience with this medium. Kinda like exorcising an agnostic view point. Which I know isn't a sufficient justification for it.
And thank you Truth Seeker for the links. I shall check 'em out.
Owen.

Each of the parties involved in this case approached it from its own frame of reference. To psychiatrists, Rob Doe suffered from mental illness. To priests this was a case of demonic possession. To writers and film/video producers this was a great story to exploit for profit. Those involved saw what they were trained to see. Each purported to look at the facts but just the opposite was true—in actuality they manipulated the facts and emphasized information that fit their own agendas.

Maybe some people want to be a little bit more proactive. You can also ask him why would anyone want to ride a bike when cars are much more comfortable and safer. ;)
I'm glad to hear that you may be reconsidering your decision. Please know that no one here is trying to tell you what to do out of a desire to be bossy. It's out of concern for your welfare. It's a jungle "out there" and people have been negatively affected in ways that they couldn't easily bounce back from.dancing duck said:I'm coming round to the idea that even needing to experiment with things beyond traditionally accepted realms is perhaps a slightly naive, even immature approach to take.
