I have received an e-mail reply from 'swedishmatch' yesteraday and they have informed me that american spirit will no longer be available in Australia "this was a decision made by American Spirit themselves" to quote precisely. Sorry guys - but Nat Shermans 'Naturals' are commonly available.

Gardian, thanks for the tip. Just ordered me a couple packs @ 21.10 each! I've been paying 58.00 a carton for American Spirits here in Tennessee. Been wanting to find something cheaper so I hope I like these :) I might be able to afford gas in my truck now...

yeah they are around $120 (australian dollars) for a carton of ten packs, although my tobacconist said she would do me a deal if I bought in bulk, we'll see how that goes :)

I too live in Western Australia and it was purely by chance that I stumbled upon your post(s).
Were you able to hunt down any natural tobacco products?
A place called Joynt Venture in the Perth CBD used to sell American Spirit but have since stopped importing them.
I am on the hunt for natural tobacco but as you know it is near on impossible to buy it.

I will keep searching, however if you do happen to find a place where they sell it, please let me know.

For Australians looking for chemical free cigarettes, Alexander's in Melbourne (_cigars.com.au) now sell Manitou (inc Organic) in both tobacco and cigarette form. Unfortunately no Nat Sherman's any longer. Although if you really want them you could order internationally from a cheap supplier and even with the customs fees per cigarette it would work out cheaper than buying here.

Personally I think I'll be sticking with Manitou organic cigarettes for now. I was smoking normal cigarettes for a few months and they're horrible. It wasn't until my mother's partner bought some organic tobacco back from Mexico that I realized how good real tobacco tastes!

I have a big problem to find a natural tobacco in Croatia, too. There is no natural tobbacco you can buy for over a month! It just disappeared!

if you are still looking for organic tobacco, I get mine from The Lucky Charm News Agent at Mirrabooka Square. They stock Manitou pre rolled and rollies. http://mirrabookasquare.com.au/stores/

I believe that some of the smokemart stores now also stock Manitou.
