I don't know if this has been covered by Sott.

Although I can understand that the participants are trying to bring attention to their struggles, but I think the devil is in the details. Comparing yourself to aliens!

Err.. seems a little disturbing to me.

I had the same reaction initially, but then I thought that the Palestinians are in such a desperate situation, they perhaps decided to do this to get a little attention, and if so, why not. It would nice if they used Hollywood to get some positive attention rather than the years of negative attention it has given them.

I think so too. Seeing as how the Na'vi got such empathy and positive responses from the public maybe the Palestinians think this positive view will rub off on them. Too bad just seeing the facts of the Palestenians suffering is not enough for the public. It's rather sad that they have to resort to dressing as movie characters in order to get their point across. Alas, desperate times....

Felt that way at first about us using Facebook as a vehicle to get our message out. As I thought about it more, why not use what the PTB have been using with success to attract others to their deceptive way of thinking? Both films and Facebook are proven ways to get information out to persons who are used to receiving messages via popular images and social networking sites.

Who knows? It might make some people think more deeply about the Palestinian situation...and then lead to something positive.

Thinking again about it, it's pretty horrible that Palestinians have to dress up as fantasy blue aliens in order to bring the attention of mind-programmed people in the West to their plight. Talk about a lack of empathy for other human beings!

I think some (a lot of) people empathize more with fictional characters than with real people. So it's really just using fiction to reach them in their sleep/hypnosis. As sad as it may be, it might work. Osit.

Well, sad as it is (and it is) fiction can sometimes disseminate great truths. Much like myths, archetypes, and symbols.

Look at how many people starting digging around after reading/watching the DaVinci Code book/film. If they didn't stop at their assumptions...and started to dig even deeper through the muck and related-disinfo that Dan Brown and others have churned out via that particular theme...they might eventually wind up here...or with some other group hungry for the truth and working towards an STO future.

My first thought as well. The majority of the ponerized population imo doesn't really know what to make of them and their situation (if they think about it all). On one hand they realize that something is amiss but then the propaganda kicks in and the image of suicide bombers pops up in their head. Although I hope it would give them some coverage they need so that the general populace is at least stirred in its sleep.
