Paper: Is the Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS Alien Technology?

Even crazy uncle Clif High was telling us months ago that he's picking up cult-like craziness in his datasets related to Atlas, but this certainly isn't an alien mothership of any kind, but something that might be artificial and will possibly show something unexpected.
One could try to list the possible outcomes of 3I from most possible to most improbable within the limits of our knowledge, anyway. The most probable thing is that it's a 3D rock that just happens to be coming from interstellar space (how many of these things slipped by while we weren't looking?) However, the electromagnetic dynamics of something of that mass moving so fast (and building charge), may or may not cause some rare and strange-looking or strange-acting astronomical behavior. The Cs said, and I paraphrase: there is no normal or natural; if it happens, it's perfectly natural.

So there might be some interesting fireworks... but not really needed because the interwebs (especially YouTube) are already flooded with fearmongering for profit, such that suggestible minds are ablaze with all sorts of nonsense. A typical video might have a quote from Michio Kaku, then 8 minutes of AI slop/(or regular slop). Much of this is just common greed and stupidity. Are the PTB encouraging any of it, or are they just letting it happen?

So maybe people should be aware of the possibility that 3I ATLAS could put on a show and still be just a rock.

So many crazy conspiracy theories and UFOs, Bigfoot, and you name it on YouTube et. al., and the social platforms are not objecting.

Here's McCanney's latest update:

He comments on the CO2 ratio and relates it to the plasma discharge comet model, the initial lack of a coma/tail, the sunward spike, the atypical iron/nickel ratio, Avi Loeb is going to take some credibility hits, comet nucleus could be huge (size estimates are based on the assumption of high albedo, not low), predicts discharges with Mars and its moons in early October that will produce some dramatic effects on Mars and grow Atlas's coma, interactions with Jupiter next year might be visible to the naked eye. He'll be covering it more over the coming months.

Avi Loeb is going to take some credibility hits
I don't know why he has any credibility to begin with, maybe because it's Harvard or maybe because he predicts a messianic age. He can always deflect and plead that what he presented as a speculative intellectual exercise for fellow scientists has been misinterpreted by uneducated conspiracy theorists, which are to be monitored, suppressed, and re-educated for their own safety.
McCanney makes a good case for a possible electric interaction with Mars but his estimate for the diameter of the nucleus (hundred to thousands of km if I heard well) is not very well substantiated.

Given the Cs ref to "hale bopp", the nucleus may be bigger than the claimed 0.32 to 5.6km and perhaps more like hale bopp at 40–80 km

I think it's Harvard.

He also thinks Hale Bopp was giant (planet-sized, but I'm not sure what that means, exactly). If I remember correctly, he claims that if NASA uses radio telescopes to get accurate comet sizes and they are huge, they hide the data. Not sure how he'd know that.

Nucleus radii are estimated through models that can be more or less accurate. It is possible perhaps for 3I to be smaller than Hale-Bopp and yet display stronger electrical phenomena at some point.

Right, but the current estimate of 3I is 2 orders of magnitude less than Hale Bopp. Can it be that much smaller and still as bright?

"Officially", HaleBopp's nucleus diameter is estimated to 40–80 km, and 3I's is estimated to 0.32 to 5.6 km. Maybe in reality both are in the multi-kilometer range diameter?

That is assuming that 3I will get that bright. The Hale-Bopp clue may be just about the craziness and speculation surrounding it.
