I love paradoxes, and I love it when I can come up with a solution that answers them ... I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but they (paradoxes) tickle me ... not just paradoxes, but *seemingly* mutually exclusive thoughts.
It's like order and chaos - now my opinion both words are usefull in terms of description, but do either of those words have anything to do with reality or truth? How about this - there is no order or chaos - only flow, transformation and change?
Or for those religious cats - creationism v.s. evolution - how about this - god "created" the universe to "evolve".
There are two paradoxes though that drive me nuts - one is the thing where one side of the paper says the statement on the other side is true, and the other side says the statement says what the other side says is false.
The other that drives me nuts is 0/0 - mathematically it *could* be zero, one, or undefined(infinity) but in human language nothing divided by nothing is just that - nothing - but that answer doesn't work in math terms. hmm...
Still I love paradoxes, and the fun isn't even in answering them, but rather were they take my mind - those two paradoxes that I described as driving me nuts are my favorites - so fun.
Does anyone got any others to drive me crazy?
