Paranoid?

Your thread on paranoia made me recall this quote, “The question is not whether I’m paranoid, it’s whether I am paranoid enough”. While looking for the source of this quote, I found it was from the 1995 movie, Strange Days. I kept thinking someone else said it, like Einstein?

I also found a few other quotes I like. “Paranoia is the belief in a hidden order behind the visible.” Given that definition, and the likelihood of hyper-dimensional controllers (not to mention psychopaths in positions of power) I’d say a lot of members here fit that definition!

This quote is from Woody Allen, “Paranoia is knowing all the facts”. And lastly, “Paranoia is heightened awareness”.

So I don’t think being aware (or paranoid), depending on who is defining it, is such a bad thing. I think that’s cool your SOTT sign made Fox news. And given someone was trying to snap your picture….well I’d be hyper-vigilant too. And on the look out for unusual people trying to befriend me. Take care and stay safe, Rebecca.

How about "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you..."

Thank you Rebecca S. for taking the time to protest in Charlotte! I have lived here my whole life and know this city is rife with old money, from religion, racing and tobacco. Please be careful because this city is not very friendly toward any change especially for the better. I too repost a lot of articles from Sott and other sites but haven't gone to protest sites. I have donated as much as I can to the movement because I really believe it can be the start of something much better for the whole world. If you'd like to be friends on Facebook please let me know...BUT I will never ask to met ya in person because the rules stated here are for protection...for us all. Please stay safe and thanks again.

Thanks everyone for your responses. It was very helpful to get some insight about anything I might have not thought of on how to proceed with vigillence. I feel understood here. I will heed the advice. And I am thinking I must get a bigger sign now, like twice the size.

Kristin Lynne, nice to hear you are local and I am glad you found this place.
