Peace, Propaganda & The Promised Land - documentary

Watched this today and thought it worth recommending. A powerful documentary commenting on how the Palestinian struggle is portrayal and managed by Israel through its influence over the US media. Produced earlier this year, before the current bout of Zionist aggression in Lebanon, it throws additional light on present coverage and the news management tactics that atrocities in Lebanon are subject to.

The documentary portrays the UK media - namely the BBC - favourably, which might be so in comparison to US reporting, but given recent coverage of events here in the UK, the BBC and other television media organisations would seem to have fallen in line with many of the PR tactics as outlined by the program. (I noticed last night that Sky News did not report at all on the peace demonstration in London yesterday, not a word from what I saw).

Worth watching to get a clearer perspective on how events in the region have been/are managed, with insightful comment from many sources including Robert Fisk of The Independent.

I'm also offering it on my site for WMP stream http://www.dickeatsbush.com/pcprpgnda.htm just a heads-up. It reall took me by suprise, I mean its one thing to hear or read of it and another to see it pointed out, osit. What got me about it most deeply is how a huge amount of info for example comes out of Palestine then goes through so many loops and comes out a small drop of water on the recieving end here in America. More and more each day it is becoming more vivid for me just how encased I am so far as false security, thinking I know jack, thinking I have any awareness..
Hopefully the shepards don't notice I've aborted the flock. :)

We watched it last night. It's really hard not to be angry at the Israelis as a whole... but one has to realize that they are almost as brainwashed as Americans are.

I wish that everyone would watch this: anyone who isn't moved to action by it just simply doesn't have a soul IMO.
