Petition to remove GMOs from feed of Kerrygold Butter cows

To CNS:

The tallow is frustratingly hard to get. I saw it finally in stock a few weeks ago, but hesitated on buying due to some other financial family concerns. I regretted it, as within two days the 5-gallon buckets were sold out and there hasn't been a restock in a few weeks.

I would recommend signing up for their e-mails, as restocks and sales are reported in those.

It must be worth the wait. I will sign up for their emails, that's an excellent idea. Thanks again HowToBe.

How shelf-stable is tallow? Are folks freezing it? I bought duck fat a few times and was a little dismayed by how quickly it molds in the fridge, it's expensive! Coconut oil molds too, especially organic, after a hot summer on the shelf.

I've canned tallow with good results. I bought a five gallon pail from USwellness meats, melted it down and canned it in pint jars. I opened one up after about 1.5 years and it was fine. I've frozen it too but usually go through it too quickly for it to be in the freezer for more than a month or so.
