Shocking video shows the moment two people were killed when their Piper PA-31T1 Cheyenne crashed on take-off from Paramillo Airport in San Cristóbal, the capital of the Táchira state of Venezuela.
In a statement the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) said, "Today Wednesday at
09:52 hrs an aircraft with registration YV1443, taking off from Paramillo Airport, located in the state of Táchira, during the takeoff phase, and fell to the ground. The corresponding protocols and the actions of the Aeronautical Firefighters of the aforementioned airport were immediately activated to attend to the accident. Unfortunately, the two crew members on board were killed. In this sense, the Civil Aviation Accident Investigation Board (JIAAC) was activated, in accordance with the requirements of the Venezuelan State, in order to find the causes of the accident."
