Possible UFO and Orb particles

OCKHAM

Jedi
Last night, I saw the red and went outside to take a few digital shots with the A10. Low and behold, a UFO was caught in the shot of which I cannot discern based on facts, as this shot was taken facing west, and the object is reflecting light from the east. I did not observe movement which may be why I never realized I even caught this object in the picture. I have enclosed a close up of the object inclusive of the orb particle for bearing. See what you think, this is my first UFO.

Look like a star to me, as it seems to be in the clearing of the clouds. Probably Venus or something, as it and maybe a few other bright objects in the sky usually appear before any other real stars appear.

Its too easy to say its a star/planet/satellite, a closer picture would have been better maybe.

Ditto, SAO. (Hey, that rhymes! :D )

I don't think OCKHAM is referring to the star/white point but the translucent "disc"*. I have no clue, but I think there is two which might suggest some kind of optical reflection ie. lensflere.

*or "orb"

The disc is only dirt or particles reflecting off the flash of the camera. These have already been discussed here in the forum. The object (shinning white) is not a star. I view the stars here regularly, and by chance Venus has been in this particular location, but farther south. This location was to far north from recent observations of Venus. That would require a time warp. However, I will view Venus again to verify the position to make sure, as if it happened to be closer, it would make you doubt the logic, as there is no logic in the first place for the object seen not being something we are familiar with.

It appears to be dusk, is this right? Which means if it is a star it is VERY bright or the sun is shining off an object in the sky...

Yes, it is dusk, or sunset, the shot is to the west where the sun has already set. I am to the east of the object. If the object is curved, the sun could be picked up and show a refection.
