Just wanted to share humorous dialog between British tourist and Passport control Officer
in one of Australian airports.

(officer) - Have you ever been in prison?
(tourist) - Is it still necessary?

Funny...yet it's a wonder why the tourist didn't get hauled off by security. That would probably be the outcome of such an exchange here in the states.

Yes, I think that tourist will be hauled off if this conversation occurred. I just watched K-Pax, where in the beginning of the film, Port helped a lady and the officers thought he was nuts and off to mental hospital he went. Authorites in US jumped to conclusions about these things. But, it's funny conversation, though.
