Problem using thumbs down, face symbols at bottom of posts

I'm having a problem using the symbols at the bottom of the forum posts, aside from the 'like.' Periodically, all of the symbols will appear when I hit the like but I don't know what I did to have this happen.

Did you try to just hover over the 'Like' word? That's when those several smilie options appeared to me.

It sometimes happens to me when my internet speed is slow that hovering over the like button doesn't reveal the other options, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Yeah, hovering over the like button produces very inconsistent results. The other options usually pop up when you don't need or want them.

That is actually how it's supposed to work. You hover over the Like, and all the options show up.
