They appear to be working on a radar sensor so miniaturized that you might someday be able to operate devices by merely moving your hand and fingers at an appropriate distance from said device.... I wonder what the health effects would be of that....

Yeah indeed, after reading the article on SoTT about EMFs it seems that this is the last thing we need. What happened to good old knobs and buttons?

However, when watching that, I found myself thinking about how nice it would be to work alongside Google's engineers. It would be a huge step up from the intellectual environment that I find myself currently in. I don't know, maybe I'm suffering from a "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome. The work I'm doing now is in engineering consultancy, where we consult companies and do engineering design, but my work has predominantly been interaction with others and logistics. Maybe that's just where I need to be right now, since I have really gained lots of experience in communication skills, emotional intelligence and boundary setting from work.
