Project to make videos.

The Living Force
Hello everyone,
I have been thinking about what the C's have been saying in the recent sessions, about the many avenues the work has..

So the other day my sister came up with an idea that sound very good to me, so i wanted to ask here first and share this idea.

My sister has grown interested in cooking, and she said to me, "you know, i have been looking online and found not a single video on how to make the fatbomb." "What if we make videos on how to make this??"

I say hmm. That actually sounds very good idea. :)

I have a canon ti3 rebel camera, and we could get around the audio part if we look, but before i even do that, i wanted to know if this idea is supported, if it is a good idea, or if someone has engaged in similar project.

Not only the fatbomb but also other recepies, inclined towards the ketongenic diet or even the paleo diet.

From there some ideas flow onto what to say, explain, cook and so on.

I would apreciate your thoughts on this :)

All what can help people to access more easily to ketogenic diet seems good. Be sure that you make a clear explanation of each steps, and if I could make a suggestion, when you give the quantities of each ingredients, give as well them in US conventions than european conventions ( kg and l ).

Repeat the list of ingredients before and after the video (as long as needed to someone copy the list on paper) :)

Yes it would be ideal to present it with both (Kl/L), I'm waiting for a tripod to start experimenting with the camera and everything else, also looking into recipes, and suggestions that points to the diet itself.

I don't know many people who know what the ketogenic diet is, and certainly a brief explanation on what each ingredient is and so on.

I will have to experiment first with what I have available.

Yes, and maybe presenting some books on the subject for reference... But don't make a long presentation otherwise those who just want to see a recipe will go away...

Great idea Felipe4

Can't wait to see the result and share it with some people where I live, who are interested to see: "How to make it"...

As far as I know, Laura also thought about making a video about it here:
https://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,34453.msg496629.html#msg496629

The more videos are out there, the merrier!

same here, i bring mine into a course i recently started and people are asking about it so would be good to
point them to a video on how to make it.

If I'm not mistaken the canon rebel camera should have a built-in mic that records mono (the higher-end pro cameras it's based on do). If you get an external mic and plug that in on the pro models, it records stereo, but more importantly, the sound quality will be hugely better (but this is also related to the software in the cameras).

Another way around the audio issues is to just have onscreen text with no sync ("live") sound and either voice over or just music can be added later in the editing, but that does complicate the project a bit (you also need a basic editing setup). If you think there can be just text instead of a voice and can add onscreen text that may be the simplest solution.... Hope this helps.

Yes I think video is a good way to make it more available and easy to check for people to check.

and a quick overview and references and books, one different each video.

Yes it does have a microphone incorporated, but the problem is the wind noise is too much even in a closed room, so I was looking at affordable mics to record the audio separately. then lay the recording on top of the video so the quality of the audio is better.

got the light
got the tripod
got the memory so far
