The Force is Strong With This One
Hi people!

I have two website projects that I'd like to share that are all about UFOs/UAP. I've worked on them since late 2021 and mid 2023 as fun projects, and would love to hear some of your thoughts on them. Quite a few hours of work have gone into both.

ufotimeline.com (since December 26, 2021 - 331 entries so far) - a timeline with data since 1561, including the following filters:
ufoquotes.com (since August 8, 2023 - 138 entries so far) - a collection of noteworthy quotes from high-ranking officials, in the following categories:
Do you have any thoughts - have I forgotten to include something important? Have some bad quotes or timeline items been added? Does the UI/design work as intended on desktop, tablet and mobile?

All feedback is welcome to improve the sites. I know people here on Cassiopaea are knowledgeable, and that's why I write here.

Thanks! All 3 are great suggestions.

Now I just need to find time to listen through interviews/documentaries or read articles, to find the best quotes from those individuals, which isn't always easy. If anyone has got a ready quote that stands out, sharing it here would help me a lot.

Great work!

At least on my I-Phone the website seems to be quite laggy when I click on the black/white switch button at the top.

You mean on ufotimeline home right? The problem is that there are so many entries on the homepage that it will always be laggy to change color for 330+ entries at once - as far as I know there is no way around it. If you go to a subpage and click the dark/light mode toggle, it should be fast.

I've now rewritten/optimized the CSS transitions on the site. If you try the toggle on home, it should be a lot less laggy on mobile. You may need to clear browser cache (or try it in incognito mode/private tab) to load the latest CSS changes.

Great! Still a bit laggy on I-Phone now but a lot less. It is now on an acceptable level I think.
