Psych therapist explains the danger of "affirming care" and "radical acceptance" pushed by political left

This the Keri Smith Deprogrammed videocast in which therapist Jake Wiskerchen describes the dangers of "affirming care" and "radical acceptance" to patients and to his profession. These concepts are being pushed by the political left in the USA and have already been legislated in California and New York. He says they force clinicians to accept a patient's self-diagnose, even if wrong, which leads to ineffective or damaging courses of treatment.

Hearing things like this, one can start to see how every base seems to be covered by this postmodernist ideology that is the foundationless basis of today's Left. The depth of the ideological infiltration/penetration is mind-boggling.

Hehe, the term "radical acceptance" really reminds me of the statement by the Canadian Trucking Alliance during the convoy protest over mandated vaccines.

Remember:

"The Canadian Trucking Alliance does not support and strongly disapproves of any protests on public roadways, highways, and bridges," the statement read. "CTA believes such actions -- especially those that interfere with public safety -- are not how disagreements with government policies should be expressed."

... "This regulation is not changing so, as an industry, we must adapt and comply with this mandate," Laskowski said in the statement. "The only way to cross the border, in a commercial truck or any other vehicle, is to get vaccinated."

The new normal really is this, in a nutshell. Don't fight it (or even think about it), just comply.
