This link (interrogation), as difficult as it is to watch, offers the final mindset of Col. Russell Williams psychopathic nature as the interrogator closes in, when Williams has no more room left, and to this end shows his demeanor and lack of empathy for the victim(s), but grave concern for his wife and house – scary. :scared:

Interesting. His reactions suggest that he truly, truly never expected to be caught or punished. Really psychopathic.

Darn - I think you'd find it fascinating (the footage of his reactions at least) - it froze up on me, but is working again.

It doesn't show his initial behavior, which was really relaxed and confident and calm (before evidence is presented to him) - so that's unfortunate because he's really kind of calm and cocky at the beginning - then just shocked and silent a lot. But, it's still interesting to watch his wheels spinning.
 
Okay, Ark found out why my computer wasn't playing it and I watched. Really CREEPY! And I agree, the interrogator was really smooth!
 
His wife sued for damage caused by the police on the hardwood floor of their house while they were searching for evidence. She insisted they replace the floors.

Excerpts from 10 hour interrogation.

What strikes me is the complete lack of guilt. Mechanical reactions:
- I don't understand how this happened. (he sounds upset about police finding and bothering him)
- What my wife must be going through right now?
- They [police] are tearing my wife's brand new flat apart.

People with serious issues but still having remains of conscience would have already broken down, cried or displayed guilt. But the colonel moves like a biomechanical machine through the investigation.

What would an interrogation look like with presidents accused of war-crimes with the investigator telling them there is nowhere to run?

The investigation cost 10.000.000 dollars? How much does a training of a US colonel cost? He must be highly trained, intelligent, in formidable physical condition.

What could i have done, had he made my wife or maybe daughter one if his victims? I'm (was more) an impulsive, vindictive type, but physical punishment [vigilante type] in this case seems impossible, because he could have me anytime anywhere in a 'one on one'. Even succeeding to do to him the same what he did to his victim would be no good, since he seems like a machine, incapable of the feeling, his victims must have been capable of very much.

Distressing to even think about a member in our New World scenario is turning out like the highly esteemed and respected colonel.

As for grasping the colonels military career - he commanded at two bases - is way over my assessment capabilities, i'm too stupid & dumb-founded.
