I just find it amusing how he treats high ranked businessman.

I wonder what would happen if he didn't sign it? Probably he would vanish during the night and that isn't funny, it's beginning of new communist era. ;)

Yeah, that's what many people say about Putin. Also, Medvedev (current Russian president) is an ongoing source of jokes for being a pet and a puppet of Putin, since many Russians are sure that Putin is the one who runs the country while Medvedev only being a ceremonial front.

On the other hand, most of the Russian high ranked businessmen you saw on the video or elsewhere are so called oligarchs. Many of them made their biggest chunk of their money, or even became rich during a period of Soviet Union collapse. And they didn't do it exactly legally. So while Putin and his close allies are ex-KGB (not a particularly open and flexible bunch), they know exactly with whom they are dealing (take Berezovsky and his ties to Israel, for example) and that Russia is in such a mess, bureaucracy and economy wise, that only an iron fist attitude will show those "high ranked businessmen" that they can play their games but only to a specific point. And that there is a price to pay, like being reminded who is the alpha dog. ;)

Simple Russian people, btw, love Putin. It is possible that it is also because of years of iron fist reign of Communistic regime (after all, many Russians genuinely cried when Stalin died), but it is also because they see that Putin doesn't go easy on big shots. It is highly possible that there are more powerful people behind Putin, but if so, he appears to be less of a puppet than other leaders of a "free World". At least, he is more articulate. ;D

Another thing to remember is, that there is a reason for Russia, and Putin specifically, being constantly either blamed or challenged by PTB. We know that there is only one master at the top, and Russia is no doubt part of it, if not one of the biggest parts. But it seems like there are several factions, and in this game they play Russia appear to be the stubborn one.

I would rather think that he would loose govs protection , therefore he could be brought down by criminals or simply by PTBs.
I cannot figure out why Putin has much more respect in my eyes than other freeworlds high officials , maybe its my weird impression but he really acts like grandpa who punishes for bad behavior :D
He is either very very cunning , or simply not so psychopathic PTB type

And that there is a price to pay, like being reminded who is the alpha dog.

That sentence is classic ha ha ! And so true imo ! And that is actually the part i am laughing at :D

I gotta say that Putin sometimes makes me laugh out loud. It's like the rest of the world doesn't quite know what to do with him. He's like a guy with a conscience who learned how to deal with psychopaths on their own turf.

I used to think Putin was a psycho (like most of the others). Not so sure now.

Watch this documentary Assassination of Russia and decide for yourself:

It doesn't say nothing about Putin but surely he was involved(ex KGB, knows the drill) and psycho or not, it doesn't really matter in the end because only thing that matters is number of people dead. They are all the same.

Vladamir Putin is a Russian nationalist and can be expected to defend Russia and it interests from attacks by Western sponsored Islamic terrorists fronts and the oligarchs who captured Russian assets after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Most of these oligarchs live in Israel and London, England. The Full Spectrum Dominance strategy of Anglo-American psychopathic elites includes disinformation on Russian leadership and its role in the world.

The film linked by dannybananny is likely disinformation sponsored by Boris Berezovsky and his Anglo-American intelligence allies.

Most Russians are unlikely to see The Attempt on Russia, a French documentary shot with the help of tycoon Boris Berezovsky, now self-exiled to London.

Yes, that was a good video. It was during the scandal in the town of Pikalevo, where the main employee, Deripaska's factory, has been losing money and has closed, leaving people on the street. After months of popular outrage, Putin arrived and put up a show of strength. He criticized that the factory management had made quick profits and never invested in the infrastructure, and demanded that the factory opens again. The sentence he says in the end, "and give me back that pen", became a running joke. Putin is usually pretty bland and has flat emotional affect, but he does have a way of putting on a thug act under a thin guise of civility. Funny enough, most oligarchs are not from chav-type backgrounds; many are from intelligentsia families and have risen to where they are through the involvement with communist youth organization while in college. This tough guy demeanor must discombobulate them on a very visceral level.

About the same time as the Pikalevo situation was unfolding though, the publicly humiliated Deripaska got very lucrative financial and regulation breaks in dealing with the consequences of Sayano-Shushenskaya hydro-electric power plant catastrophe. He and his company, Rusal (which at a time was close to bankruptcy), basically got bailed out, directly from the state and the bank where Putin sits on the board, while the repairs have been postponed and a positive PR-campaign was orchestrated in the media. The money involved far eclipses the Pikalevo situation. Also, there are major cities in the vicinity of the power station that are threatened by any subsequent disaster, likelihood of which is very high.

One suspects that the video is just that, a show, and behind the screen Putin and Deripaska's business partnership remains intact.

He had interest in making the documentary but he jumped in later after the 70% of movie was done. It doesn't mean there's no truth in it, I think it reveals very much because if you look all the evidence witnesses gave it's clear there's something wrong with official story, and it's very clear they are very bad liars. FSB was clearly involved in it is my opinion or better say it's fact.

That doesn't mean he doesn't like to play dirty here and while, blow his people up and link it to the islamic terrorists who are sponsored by CIA so he can take upper hand in Caucasus.

I live in RF - and what I can say:

Are You kidding? Putin - nationalist? Nonsense!
Putin and his allies want to destroy the Russian nation!! (I mean not multicultural "nation" - I mean Russky)

The Russian people in Russia do not have any rights. We do not even have own autonomy - are we worse than the Indians?
