So the assessment of some people within this documentary, who seem to know the politics in russia and other countries from the inside, is that Putin might be the "leader of the national revolution" to save russia from the takeover of foreign entities and entities within russia.

Obviously I'm not able to investigate and judge Putin's real politics and intentions myself, but it more and more looks to me, at this point, that he might indeed represents a real threat to the pathocrates in power all over the world.

One thing is certain: Anybody in such a high position, as Putin is in nowadays, has to fight almost impossible forces from all sides and at the same time such a person must be smart and careful as hell, to be able to accomplish something good (if that is his real intention). As of now Putin seems to match that description.

Also interesting that I never heard of those assassination attempts on his live before and the numerous things he tried/tries to accomplish in russia...

There are some biggis he managed to accomplish/or tries to accomplish, like taking back the oil industry into the hands of russia, so that the country itself and the people in it, can benefit from it...

Keep in mind that I'm basing this on the things that are stated in the documentary above. I'm not able to investigate the validity of the things that are stated in there... So it would be nice to get more feedback regarding the above from people who know russia and its system and can shed more light on what Putin has actually done and is trying to do...

Interesting documentary, I'm watching part 1 right now. Here's a link to the Russian version without english dubs for anyone interested:

I watched them yesterday. They repeat several things and it is confusing because the dubbed version doesn't distinguish who said what. Subtitles would be better... But it is still very informative.

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

Totally amazing. Without understanding psychopaths and TPTB it would be unbelievable. Shafted completely on their resources. The Controversy of Zion springs to mind. Just hope that Putin is the new JC - though wishful thinking again.

Thanks for the link. Apparently, the series has 4 films, and maybe even 5, though not sure if it's part of the same production. Here they are in Russian:

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

I've watched the first two parts. So far so good. Are the other parts translated or dubbed into English?

Russia was completely shafted in the 1990s. I don't know to what extent it was planned deliberately but I'm not surprised to hear they had lists of specific cities, industries and factories they wanted to buy cheap and sell off.

It looks like Putin became an outcast when he got France and Germany to form an anti-war alliance with Russia in the lead up to the Second Iraq War. You see this in 'Putin, Russia and the West', a BBC documentary.

Soon after, the oligarch Berezovsky fled as Putin came after him for tax evasion, but really he was pursuing specific oligarchs that were breaking Putin's new cardinal rule: the oligarchs got to keep most of the powers and assets they pillaged in the 90s, so long as they aligned with the government, i.e. aligned with Putin.

It's genius when you think about it. Rather than "kick the money-changers out of the temple", Putin turned them into workhorses for him! That's a recipe for disaster in the hands of a psychopath, but if that person has a conscience?...

Then Mikhail Khodorkovsky was arrested in October 2003. Portrayed as some kind of saint in the West, Putin made an example of him because he not only flouted the cardinal rule, he publicly challenged Putin to the throne.

At the same time, Putin was doing something else that you're not supposed to do: he actually used his military to go after terrorists in Chechnya, rather than use them as an excuse to acquire new territories and booty. Then he spent billions on actually rebuilding the place. Chechnya went from being as bad as Afghanistan to fully rebuilt in about 4 years. The locals were so impressed that their desire for national independence all but vanished.

Then he rearmed Russia, big-time... and challenged the West re Libya, Syria, etc.

What is unemployment in the US today? Officially it's 6.7%, but the actual rate, according to one Wall Street analyst, is 37.2%

And in Russia? 5.6%

Frankly, when you pull back the layers of propaganda, a completely different picture of Putin and Russia emerges.

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

In English, part 1 and 2 are about 58 minutes total. The runtime per IMDB is 52 minutes? _http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266793/

This video site has them as well, but the same running times.

The German version shows 2 hours and 21 minutes, so I'd guess there are more parts unless the German version has additional footage outside the original documentary.

I haven't been able to find #3, 4 or 5 in English on YouTube. Has anyone run across them?

Last week someone shared with me a link to a youtube video about Russians (and Slavs in general) being deliberately "alcoholized". Everyone knows the wildly accepted notion about Russians constantly drinking vodka, and bears walking on the streets, etc. Well, apparently, vodka was brought to Russia by foreigners in 14th century, and Russians didn't really like it and considered inebriation as shameful and unbecoming. The whole alcoholizing process basically started during the soviet rule in order to bring in more money to the government (and probably for the control purposes as well). There is a saying, that history proofs that Russians can't be defeated by force, so attempts are made to destroy them from within. To make them their own enemies.

I couldn't find an English version of the video, but here is one with Polish subtitles.

Interesting, "so attempts are made to destroy them from within." Which is what happened to the North American Indians after other things were tried and done; the trade of alcohol for goods, which they had no understanding of the long term social and health effects.

Well, given the nature of the world we live in today, when we see any major world figure or national leader demonised by Western governments and media, it's reasonable to assume that they are doing something as close to "good" as it gets these days. The same applies in reverse when we see any such person being lionized.

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

Looking at how Russia has weathered many storms while Venezuela is starting to break under the strain after Chavez died really makes me wonder how truly important it is to have a strong political leader with a conscience. They are hard to come by, but they truly transform a nation and it's people when they pull it off.

Unfortunately, couldn't find any. Watched 3rd and the beginning of the 4th parts so far, and they talk about Litvinenko death, Berezovski and his connection with terror attacks supposedly done by Chechens, attempts to influence elections, etc.

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

I have come across Russian news website in English pravda.ru; very interesting, nothing like Western news sites. It is a great source of information, it is very refreshing to read. Russians seem to be very aware of the situation of the world and understand well the mechanisms of “The system”, the ruling elite, “democracy” of America and EU, their goals and modes of operation and they speak openly about it. There are articles attempting to objectively analyze the events/ situation in Ukraine, Syria and other countries, but there are also articles about mind control, sex as a weapon, about science.
Here is the link:
http://english.pravda.ru/

One article: “Why do fear the truth” begins with the words:

If we want to take appropriate action to fix something that is not working properly, then it is necessary to understand, precisely, the nature of the problem. Obviously, if our diagnosis is inaccurate, then the solution applied is unlikely to work. This principle of needing to understand a problem accurately before we can devise and implement an appropriate solution applies in all fields of human endeavour, whether it be a mechanical, scientific, health or environmental problem, or a conflict at any level of human relationships.
The most important impediment to understanding and resolving any problem or conflict is our fear of knowing the truth. We spend a lot of our time trying to deal with problems and conflicts by deluding ourself about the cause and/or the solution necessary.

Later in the article we read:

…. and we want to blame other people for our conflicts if looking ourselves deeply in the mirror might tell us something about ourselves that we don't want to know.
But if we want to deal adequately with any problem or conflict, first of all we need to be courageous enough to acknowledge the truth, including any truth about ourselves. Why is this so difficult? Why have we become afraid of the truth?
Like all of our fears, the fears that tell us that we cannot understand a problem and that we cannot fix it originate in our childhood experience.

There is an article: “Russia to help Ukraine solve the crisis, if Yanukovych asks”.
http://english.pravda.ru/hotspots/conflicts/20-02-2014/126885-russia_ukraine_yanukovych-0/

"Yanukovych hopes that he can still improve relations with the West. After all, his policy was about maneuvering between Russia and the West. He hopes that as long as he does not use force against the radicals, then he can still become an acceptable leader for the West. This is silly self-deception. Because the West has already written Yanukovych off.

The West holds Yanukovych accountable for everything that happens and will happen in Ukraine. It does not matter how many people he killed - one or one hundred. Yanukovych has been chosen as a scapegoat. The only way for him to resist, to retain power and even life - is to stand very determined, to fight to the end, and hope for support from Moscow.

"Moscow is now too afraid to openly support him, because who knows where he goes next. Let's say Russia supports him now, but he takes a U-turn as he did in 2004, and Russia will look like a fool again. So Putin takes a very cautious position, he is not certain about Yanukovych.

"Yanukovych must at first show his strength and defeat radicals. If necessary, he should ask assistance from Russia. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said that Russia would use its influence to stabilize the situation in Ukraine. This may mean that Russia may help Yanukovych to restore order in the country with the use of military force," Mikhail Alexandrov said.

And another article: “The lesson from Ukraine: Bezplatno does not exist”, which begins: [Bezplatno means getting something for free]

Get enough thugs together, pussy-foot around allowing them to do what they want, and pretty much anything is possible. You get people shooting at police, you get criminals released from jail, you get terrorists and traitors trespassing and thieving in the Presidential Palace. But there is no bezplatno, free lunches do not exist.
In any civilized country, anyone shooting at the police faces the consequences of her/his actions. In Ukraine, such ...people?... are called "victims" and the USA and European Union are quick to impose sanctions, as classic and blatant a case of interference as we have witnessed in recent years. The reason? President Yanukovich said No thanks, to the EU's carrot-an'-stick methods.

Re: The Unknown Wladimir Putin

There is something interesting I want to point out.

RT, previously known as Russia Today is a well known television/news network now.
_http://rt.com/

We can read the following about it on wikipedia:

_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_(TV_network)#Network said:
RT, previously known as Russia Today, is an international multilingual Russian-based television network. It is registered as an autonomous nonprofit organization[2][3] funded by the federal budget of Russia through the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.[4][5]

RT presents round-the-clock news bulletins, documentaries, talk shows, and debates, as well as sports news and cultural programs on Russia aimed at the overseas news market.[6] The network's signal is carried by 22 satellites and over 230 operators, which allows some 644 million people to watch the channel in more than 100 countries.[7] RT America is available to 85 million people in the United States.[8] In 2011 it was the second most-watched foreign news channel in the U.S. after BBC World News,[9] and the number one foreign station in five major U.S. urban areas in 2012.[10] It is also very popular among younger American people, U.S. college students, and in U.S. inner city neighborhoods.[11] In 2013 RT has become the first TV news channel in history to reach 1 billion views on YouTube. According to the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board between 2.25–2.5 million Britons tuned their televisions to RT during the second half of 2012, making it the third-most watched rolling news channel in Britain, behind BBC News and Sky News.[12][13]

History

Foundation

The creation of Russia Today was a part of a larger effort by the Russian government intended to improve the image of Russia abroad.[14] RT was conceived by former media minister Mikhail Lesin,[15] and Vladimir Putin's press spokesperson Aleksei Gromov.[16] At the time of RT's founding, RIA Novosti director Svetlana Mironyuk stated: "Unfortunately, at the level of mass consciousness in the West, Russia is associated with three words: communism, snow and poverty," and added "We would like to present a more complete picture of life in our country."[15]

So RT has become a huge network with a very big reach in the World and also in America, while they clearly seem to expose many lies and propaganda from the US Israel and its puppets.

It could be described as the biggest alternative media nowadays, while the reach it gets now can not be considered alternative anymore (in terms of numbers of people who it is reaching).

On _http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/rt.com

RT it is ranked on place 345 of the most popular websites in the world and on place 526 within America. That is far ahead of any alternative media out there.

Just to give you a comparison, _http://www.prisonplanet.com/ is ranked at place 10410 in the world and on place 3022 within America.

Also interesting to see how high RT is ranking within other countries in the world:
unbenannt2K8TEZ.png

Another interesting thing to note is that RT America is a TV channel based in Washington D.C., supposedly with its studios just a stone's throw away from the white house, as it is stated within this video: _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuBYbdwaaQ8

Interestingly they also say (in the video above) that Abby Martin with her popular show „Breaking the Set“ on RT, which seems to be very upfront with the lies of the US, is working there.

I've tried to find out the exact address of their studios in D.C., to see if that is actually true, but with no success. But I think it is reasonable to assume that this is the case since the moderator in the video above said it.

Here is the wikipedia page on RT America:
_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_America

So now what had Putin to say about this Network back in 2013?

See here: _http://rt.com/news/putin-rt-interview-full-577/

And here is the video that is also within the article above:

https://youtu.be/33oIF-ggK5U

Notice that I wasn't able to find the full video of the interview above on any englisch website. All the videos I could find in english, start where the video above is starting, but there is a part at the beginning of that interview above, that was cut out, in which Putin had something interesting to say.

I literally couldn't find that beginning part, on any video in the english speaking world.

Since I watched a couple of videos the last couple of days about Putin, I came across this missing part on a german/russian video.

Here it is:

https://youtu.be/JrZF91arG5A

What he had to say there is the following:

Putin on RT in 2013 said:
Margarita Simonyan: Mr. Putin, thanks again for visiting us.

Vladimir Putin: Thanks for inviting me.

Margarita Simonyan: According to the Russian tradition, as hospitable hosts we are always happy to have such guests.

Vladimir Putin: I have to say, it was somewhat unexpected for me that our talk would be on air, not to mention it being live. But I was happy when Margarita just told me about it. I knew that we were having a meeting with journalists but I had no idea that you’d arranged such an ambush as live broadcast of it. Well, it’s all yours.

Margarita Simonyan: Well, we have nothing to hide.

Vladimir Putin: There’s nothing to hide, indeed.

Margarita Simonyan: My first question is a bit immodest – about our channel. What are your impressions of it?

Vladimir Putin: I have good impressions.

When we designed this project back in 2005 we intended introducing another strong player on the world’s scene, a player that wouldn’t just provide an unbiased coverage of the events in Russia but also try, let me stress, I mean – try to break the Anglo-Saxon monopoly on the global information streams. And it seems to me that you’re succeeding in this job.

I’d like to emphasize something of the key importance. We never expected this to be a news agency or a channel which would defend the position of the Russian political line. We wanted to bring an absolutely independent news channel to the news arena.

Certainly the channel is funded by the government, so it cannot help but reflect the Russian government’s official position on the events in our country and in the rest of the world one way or another. But I’d like to underline again that we never intended this channel, RT, as any kind of apologetics for the Russian political line, whether domestic or foreign.

The above is what was cut out from this video interview with Putin on RT, and on every english video I could find.

Putting what Putin said above in connection with what I've researched above, certainly makes me wonder quite a bit what is going on there...

Any ideas?

A questions that comes to my mind:

How was it possible for RT to reach such a high level of popularity all over the world and especially within the US since 2005, while a couple of their most popular, interesting, hard hitting and controversial shows/news (in the sence of "exposing the lies and propaganda of the US and its partners") are being produced in Washington D.C., just a stone's throw away from the white house?
