Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

'The NATO is preparing for a total war with Russia.'

NATO tells Ukraine to fight on

29 Jun, 2022
The military alliance is encouraging Ukraine’s President Zelensky to continue war with Russia, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said

Fighting against Russia with Western help is the only way forward for Ukraine, NATO members told President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Belgian prime minister said on Wednesday.

“We make it very clear that this war can only be won on the battlefield and we should continue to support President Zelensky and the Ukrainian population as much as possible to be able to win the war on the battlefield,” Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo told journalists on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Madrid.

He said he had the chance to personally interact with and encourage Zelensky and pointed out that his country was among the first to offer military support to Kiev and will continue sending arms to Kiev, he assured.

“NATO support in the broad sense has been there from the start, and will continue to be there,” he added.

NATO nations have been training Ukrainian troops since the 2014 armed coup in Kiev. When Russia launched its offensive against Ukraine more than four months ago, it cited the military bloc’s eastward expansion as a key reason. Moscow perceives NATO as a hostile organization and a threat to its national security.

The Belgian prime minister also said that Ukraine was given a strong gesture of support by the EU, when it was offered candidate status last week. He said Brussels also sent “a very important message” about EU enlargement to Moldova, which became a candidate too.

“Some people will say: ‘Well, it’s symbolic’. But symbolic messages are extremely important today,” De Croo said, referring to the fact that EU nations expect neither Ukraine nor Moldova to join them as fully-fledged members anytime soon.

The Belgian PM praised the ongoing NATO summit as a success, due to Turkey lifting its objections to Sweden and Finland joining the alliance, which was announced on Tuesday.

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”

In February 2022, the Kremlin recognized the Donbass republics as independent states and demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

RUSSIAN OIL PRICE CAP IS YET ANOTHER WESTERN PR FANTASY

Russian Oil Price Cap Is Yet Another Western PR Fantasy
The price cap is just another move for domestic consumption as the political West desperately tries to pretend it’s still in control.
Written by Drago Bosnic, independent geopolitical and military analyst
Last Monday, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated the United States and other NATO/EU countries are continuing talks to “restrict Russia’s energy revenues” by “imposing a price cap” on the country’s oil.
“We are continuing to have productive conversations, today and with our partners and allies around the world with how to further restrict energy revenues to Russia while preventing spillover effects to the global economy,” Yellen said during a press conference. “We are talking about price caps or a price exception…”
The US, Canada, the UK and other satellite states have banned Russian oil imports, while the EU, which remains highly dependent on Russian energy supplies, agreed on a partial ban by year’s end. The G7 countries, the largest Western and Western-aligned economies, have agreed to “study possible price caps” on Russian oil and gas to try to “limit Moscow’s ability to fund its invasion of Ukraine”, G7 officials said on Tuesday. The change of wording is quite telling, as just a week prior, Western political leadership was talking about the price cap as if it was already a done deal. However, at the G7 meeting, the officials were talking about “an agreement to study the Russian oil and gas price cap”. The officials, again, including US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, are claiming the move will reduce the revenues Russia is making with energy sales, while allowing Western consumers to continue getting oil and gas supplies.
This claim is extremely farfetched, to say the least. The very idea of caps in international trade goes against the most basic principles of free trade and market economy, both of which are (or at least they officially were) the holy grail of the political West’s economic system. The US and its allies, along with numerous client states have even gone to war with pretexts to establish “free trade” and “market economy” in certain countries, including Yugoslavia, which had a mixed (market and planned) economy. Apart from the political West quite literally destroying and dismantling the country, it also forced the shattered remains of Yugoslavia to renounce entire sectors of their economy and effectively surrender it to Western oligarchs. Essentially, by introducing an oil and gas price cap, the political West is trying to implement the same economic policies it used as an excuse to bomb and destroy numerous other countries.
Another important note is that these impotent attempts are still a far cry from the pompously announced all-out Russian export ban from approximately 4 months ago. Had the political West been able to limit or halt Russian revenues from oil, gas, food and numerous other commodities which are as essential as they could possibly be, they would’ve done it long ago. However, the political West realizes that any serious disruptions to Russian commodities reaching their own countries would have a disastrous effect on the stability of their economies. At the same time, the political West is frustrated that it needs to pay for those commodities. This results in a series of schizophrenic moves or comically arrogant proclamations of future moves which never really happen.
The declared aim is to “encourage sales of Russian oil at levels slightly above production costs to ensure Russia’s earnings are reduced while it maintains production”. Tamas Varga from oil broker PVM stated the gas and oil price cap idea amounts to evidence that outright bans on Russian commodities have been “counterproductive as Russian revenues have increased”. And indeed, Russia’s revenues from gas and oil sales have increased exponentially in comparison to the same period last year. Thus, Varga believes that “creating a buyers’ cartel to starve Russia of petrodollars while alleviating inflationary pressure from oil prices is challenging”.
“The big unknown is Vladimir Putin’s reaction,” said Varga. “If Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to reduce oil or gas exports the plan will backfire and lead to further rise in prices. It is a nightmare scenario,” Varga added.
According to Reuters, Russian production costs are $3-$4 per barrel and Russian firms could probably profit even if oil prices were $25-$30 per barrel. The goal of this Western “buyers’ cartel” is to impose a price cap which would be just above the production cost, making it possible for the oil companies to continue to operate, which should prevent the Russian government from getting any profits. Richard Mallinson from Energy Aspects confirmed this was the goal in his statement for Reuters.
“G7 countries want to reduce Russian oil revenues and this implies a price cap well below what buyers are currently paying. Some campaigners advocate for a very aggressive reduction, pointing to Russia’s low production costs and arguing it would continue to sell oil at any price above this level,” Mallinson stated.
There’s only one “tiny” issue with this plan. Russia can simply cut gas and oil supplies to all countries trying to impose this illegal Western price cap. This would push global markets into yet another frenzy. With OPEC countries openly stating they can’t replace Russia’s share in the oil and gas market, the prices would go into orbit, causing a cascading effect of price hikes in every other industry, exponentially increasing inflation, while stagnation would turn into recession in many countries. Thus, any attempt to impose price caps isn’t just illegal, but could easily backfire and destroy Western economies. It seems the political West learned nothing from the last 4 months of a failed economic siege of Russia.

On the importance of Odessa and Snake Island in the successful completion of the special operation

An interesting analyses based on Oleg Tsarev's recent article and and expanding it a little bit. Slightly edited machine translation, bolding, mine.

Tsarev's article here (in Russian):

BTW, Russian media reminded recently that the war in Donbass was prepared back in 1957 when in a secret CIA study, Ukraine was divided into 12 zones according to the degree of loyalty to American intervention. A summary of the declassified study published by Ukrainian BBC was translated into English and published by Oleg Tsarev in 2017

The study itself:

was mentioned in the other Ukrainian thread here.
I looked at the map in tha CIA archives, specifically the map representing the percentage votes for the opposing candidates (Yushchenko and “Pro-Russian” Yanukovych) for the President of Ukraine. However, even when the percentage was below 50% for Yushchenko, it was still marked in yellow, the 'Yushchnko' colour. So for all regions marked for Yusgchenko in yellow that were below 40%, I recoloured in light blue, assuming that less than 50% for Yushchenko was more for Yanukovych. Of course there were areas marked blue for Yanukovych, which wre less than 50% as well.

Speaking to journalists in Turkmenistan on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to questions about several recent remarks from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. During the latest G7 summit, the UK leader joked that his allies should take their clothes off for the photoshoot – to show that they are “tougher than Putin.”

“I don't know how they wanted to undress, waist-high or not, but I think it would be a disgusting sight either way,”
the Russian president quipped. “Everything should be harmoniously developed in a person, both the body and the soul. However, in order for everything to be harmonious, one has to abandon excessive drinking and break other bad habits, start exercising, take up a sport.”

Tsarev's article here (in Russian):

Russia withdrew the garrison from Snake Island as a goodwill gesture, the Defense Ministry said
"This demonstrates to the world community that the Russian Federation does not impede UN efforts to organize a humanitarian corridor for the export of agricultural products from the territory of Ukraine.

After four months of holding the fort Russians troops took their toys and left the Snake Island. It was a necessary decision, the only one that would allow to save the lives and equipment in the face of ever increasing shelling. Yesterday, they lost one ZRPK “Pantsir-S1 and were forced to keep moving other vehicles so to avoid the fire. It's a pity that MOD decided to go the Soviet propaganda way ("act of goodwill") instead of proudly admitting that suicidal missions is not what they do.

Some pictures and videos of yesterday's fire (sorry, cant link specific posts):

Polish leadership begins work on scenarios of dismembering Ukraine — Russian intelligence

One of the options on the agenda is creating a Poland-controlled proxy state ‘under the protection’ of the Polish armed forces, the SVR’s press-bureau informed

MOSCOW, June 30. /TASS/. The director of Russia’s foreign intelligence service SVR, Sergey Naryshkin, has said that, according to SVR sources the Polish leadership has begun to work on scenarios of dismembering Ukraine, the SVR’s press-bureau told TASS on Thursday.

"Warsaw has analyzed the situation to arrive at a painful conclusion that it will be impossible, contrary to statements by the Western politicians and military, to prevent the forces of Russia, the DPR and the LPR from coping with the tasks of the special operation and to prevent Russia's victory on the battlefield. In this connection the Poles see the prospects for the Zelensky regime’s political survival as ‘disappointing.’ In the emerging ‘critical’ circumstances Warsaw tends to go beyond the previously planned deployment of a Polish ‘peacekeeping contingent’ in western Ukraine," the press-bureau says, citing the SVR director’s statement.

"One of the options on the agenda is creating on the Kresy Wschodnie (Eastern Borderlands) a Poland-controlled proxy state ‘under the protection’ of the Polish armed forces. Alongside this a plan is being considered for converting Ukraine’s central regions into a buffer zone, which, Poland hopes, will help it avoid an extremely undesirable direct clash with Russia," Naryshkin said.

According to the Russian foreign intelligence, the Polish authorities are certain that the United States and Britain will be forced to support this plan. "Warsaw believes that as Russian troops advance deep into Ukrainian territory, Washington and London will have no choice other than to display 'unconditional solidarity' with an ally who is ready to 'resolutely defend the interests of the West in Ukraine'," the SVR said.

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is actively working to recruit Daesh militants detained in prisons and camps controlled by the Kurds in northeastern Syria, to send them to Ukraine, The Russian Sputnik News Agency said, citing a source.

CIA Recruiting Daesh Militants to Be Sent to Ukraine, Source Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is recruiting militants of the Daesh* terror group, who are being held in Kurdish-controlled prisons and camps in Syria, to send them further to Ukraine, an informed source told Sputnik.

"According to available information, the US CIA is actively recruiting Daesh militants, held in Kurdish-controlled prisons and camps in northeast Syria. The Americans are transferring terrorists to their facilities under the pretext of conducting additional investigation with the prospect of [militants'] transfers to Europe," the source said.

To date, the Kurds have already handed over to the United States several Daesh high-ranking leaders and about 90 fighters, mainly from among citizens of the EU countries, Iraq, Russia's Chechen Republic and China's Xinjiang, the source added. For now, the US plans to deploy the militants on the territory of its At-Tanf military base located in southern Syria.

"In the future, Washington intends to send these militants to Ukraine so that they take part in hostilities against the Russian armed forces," the source said.

Judging by past events, this was to be expected. Nothing has been reported about the condition of the Russian released yet.

Biden and NATO/EU slowly gearing up for a hot war. Sending the 101st Airborne to Europe for the first time in 80 years.

Deafening Drumbeats for War - Biden Sends More U.S. Troops to Ukraine Border, 101st Airborne Deployed, Six Destroyers to Mediterranean, F-35 Squadrons to U.K. - The Last Refuge

There is a slow-motion buildup to a hot war with Russia happening. The NATO and western alliance motive for the war is clear {Go Deep}. The question is rapidly moving from “if” to “when.”

Angry-Biden-presser-NATO.jpg
Joe-Biden-NATO-1.jpg

In this outline we will update on the troop and military movements and then explain why the war with Russia is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. In many ways this will be the “Climate Change War,” you will see why below.

First, the U.S. is moving troops from the 101st Airborne ‘screaming eagles’ into NATO allied countries on the western border of Ukraine. This is the first deployment of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Europe in 80 years. As noted by base reporting, “Elements of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, and 101st Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division, have been assigned to carry out the mission.” [source]

“We’re going to check the Russian influence and we’re going to impact the Russians’ decision-making for probably the next 10-20 years,” said Col. John Lubas, deputy commanding officer for operations, 101st Airborne Division, in a pre-deployment briefing. “We’re going to do this with all our partners in NATO, the European Union and the West, and this is an incredibly important mission.”

Maj. Gen. JP McGee, commanding general, 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell, said the division has been in an increased readiness posture for several months and is just as prepared now as during World War II.

“Since D-Day, June 6, 1944, this division has repeatedly answered the nation’s call in every major conflict,” McGee said. “The Screaming Eagles of today are ready to support our allies to preserve the long-lasting stability in Europe that our predecessors fought and died to secure.” (link)

Second, Joe Biden has announced that six U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyers are being moved into the Mediterranean Sea to provide
air defense missions and the ability to launch cruise missiles well inland into Russia [source].

As noted in a press conference by Biden, “here in Spain, we’re going to work with our Ally to increase U.S. Navy destroyers stationed in Spain’s Rota Naval Base from three to — from four to six — four to six destroyers.”

Joe Biden – “In Poland, we’re going to establish a permanent headquarters for the U.S. Army Fifth Corps and — strengthening our U.S.-NATO interoperability across the entire eastern flank.

We’re going to maintain additional rotational Brigade — which is 3,000 fighters and another 2,000 personnel — Combat Team here in Europe, headquartered in Romania. And we’re going to enhance our rotational deployments in — deployments in the Baltic states. (link)

European-NATO-1.jpg
Third, Joe Biden is sending “two additional F-35 squadrons to the UK, and station additional air defense and other capabilities in Germany and in Italy.” [source] This is not a defensive posture. This is an offensive buildup of U.S. troops across the broad western border of Ukraine and a positioning of advanced first-strike elements in proximity to Russia.

This large NATO footprint posture, of which the United States is the predominant military force, has little to do with Ukraine and almost nothing to do with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As noted by the New York Times last weekend [source], the CIA, State Dept. and Pentagon special forces are operating in Kyiv and organizing the military conflict against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.

War with Russia is moving from “if” to “when”, and here’s how we know it is almost certain.

The NATO and western alliance that is currently engaging in the military buildup against Russia is the exact same alliance of governments’ who are chasing the climate change agenda at all costs.

I know it sounds outlandish, but the World Economic Forum multinational corporations that influence and manipulate geopolitical politics are the driving force for this needed war with Russia. Their holy grail of Climate Change policy, and the massive shift in global economic power that comes with executing the climate change agenda, is so consequential to the geopolitical world that such a massive move is needed.

More specifically, we already know there is going to be a global food shortage as a result of the new world order energy policy that underpins the Build Back Better agenda. We do not know the extent of the food deficit; however, we do know less food, perhaps much less food, is going to be available on a global basis.

We also know the majority voices, including the United States, within the NATO alliance have decided it is more important to follow the climate change policy than
the climate change policy than it is to feed people. [Africa Example] The U.K and Germany proposed trying to avoid further conflict by generating more food [source]. The U.S. and Canada have blocked the effort saying that maintaining the shift toward new western energy development is more important.

Maintaining the development of a new western energy system to drive economic activity is more urgent and important than the looming crisis of global famine. Accepting that reality, understanding the priorities as outlined, are the keys to understanding why the western alliance need the war with Russia {GO DEEP}.

I cannot emphasize this enough. If you do not accept the scale, scope and severity of the collective west’s entrenched commitment to climate change, you will be caught off-guard and not understand what is coming.

NATO and Western Govt, led by the policy of Joe Biden, have placed oil and gas sanctions against Russia. Those U.S-led Russian energy sanctions follow similar sanctions already in place against oil and gas from Iran and Venezuela.

Simultaneously the G7, Western Alliance will not allow Africa to develop their own use of natural gas to produce fertilizer to increase crop yield/harvest. [source] The G7 control food production in Africa by controlling the energy company investment needed to manufacture fertilizer. Again, as with the biofuel issue [source], the G7 and Western Alliance are prioritizing Climate Change energy policy over food production. Which will ultimately cause food shortages and famine.

Western-Government-map-eu-sanctions.jpg
However, within this forecast dynamic, now the “WEST” has an ideological problem. Sooner or later the issues will surface with massive interest. People around the world will figure this out. The absence of food will change things. People in all parts of the world will eventually get angry once they realize the absence of food is being caused by Western Govt prioritizing Climate Change over people.

Things will get intense. Things will get ugly. The Western “leaders” need a scapegoat, a way to focus the world’s anger away from them… and toward something else. Their advanced narrative messaging has already surfaced in the words of National Security Coordinator for Strategic Communication, John Kirby:

“President Putin is, no kidding, weaponizing food. Let’s just call it what it is: He’s weaponizing food. He’s got an essential blockade there in the Black Sea so that nothing can leave by sea — and that’s, of course, how Ukraine has historically gotten its grain to markets.” [source]

It is not coincidental that John Kirby was moved from Pentagon spokesperson to NSC strategic communications at the White House. Kirby’s prior move into the White House is as much related to what is coming as the 101st Airborne deployment today.

Notice how the looming shortage of food is being blamed on Russian President Vladimir Putin. “He’s weaponizing food,” Kirby repeats, this is a significant and telling advance narrative. What Kirby is outlining is the western government justification for the upcoming war against Russia.

The collective western leaders, positioned by the NATO talking points, are going to justify war against Russia as a needed fight to stop the global food crisis from worsening. They will claim it is Russian President Vladimir Putin who has disrupted the world energy production.

NATO and the western alliance will claim Putin is the reason why food fertilizer is in short supply. NATO will claim that Putin’s war in Ukraine is the source of the global energy, food and subsequent economic crisis. Just like Putin has been blamed for higher energy and gasoline prices, so too will Putin be blamed for starving millions of people.

The war against Russia will be justified as the war to stop Putin from creating mass starvation. If you cannot see how this is being constructed through all of the sub-links, citations and sources above, I cannot lay this out more clearly.

A NATO and western alliance war with Russia is not a matter of “if“, it is now a question of when?
