Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

We continue to move forward. Similar events are happening almost every day now. Fortunately, it happens much less often in the opposite direction. However, it is still categorically too early to relax, the enemy is still snapping and sometimes quite successfully. For example, yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to recapture the village of Peschanoe near Pokrovsk. They are unlikely to be able to hold this village for long, but by the Munich Conference they had organized a micro-victory, as their Ukrofuhrer demanded.
The Russian Armed Forces liberate the village of Berezovka in the DPR

The task was completed by units of the Center group of forces

MOSCOW, February 15th. /tass/. Russian troops have liberated the village of Berezovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry said.

""As a result of decisive action, units of the Center group of forces liberated the Berezovka settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic," the Russian military said.

In general, this Munich Conference is enchanting. In Russia, one of the politicians, in my opinion, Kosachev, declared the "death of the collective West." Well, let's see. I admit that I am personally pleased with such assessments, I hope that it would not be just wishful thinking. Just in case, I would like to emphasize that I rejoice at the "death" of a specific, categorically hostile political structure towards my homeland and my people, and not states, peoples or people. Well, as for the Ukroreich, this "star has set" in any case, the only question is exactly how and how fast this sunset will be.
Zelensky was banned from speaking Ukrainian at the Munich Conference

The moderators of one of the sessions of the Munich Security Conference banned Zelensky from speaking in Ukrainian.

Zelensky asked the moderator if he could speak Ukrainian, to which he received a categorical "no." The only thing left for the head of the Kiev regime to do is to pretend that this is how it should be and just laugh.

Earlier, the media wrote about another embarrassment of Zelensky in Munich. After meeting with the U.S. delegation led by Vice President J.D. Vance in Germany, he and his assistant Ermak left the meeting room red-faced and nervous. Following the meeting, Vance stated the importance of "starting contacts" to find a "responsible" solution to the situation around Ukraine.

Information also came from the fields of the Munich Conference that the United States is demanding from Ukraine a "very tough" agreement on the transfer of control over resources to them. This was announced by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist). "There will be a very tough agreement with the United States on our resources," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Goncharenko, the agreement "hints" at the privatization of some parts of the Ukrainian economy. The MP said that after JD Vance's speech at a conference in Munich, European politicians remember former US President Joe Biden and grieve. "Not everything is gone. But the situation is very complicated," Goncharenko wrote.

The bloodthirsty campaign called "mogilization" is taking on increasingly grotesque, monstrous forms and has been going in different directions for some time. The mogilizators are mogilizing, but those who are mogilized snapping back. Military commissars are being beaten, slaughtered, shot, and now they are being blown up with suicide bombers. Before that, it was known only about arson attacks on cars and explosions of premises. And although the losses in this bloody struggle are still unequivocally in favor of the "mogilizators," it is already clear that this occupation is not at all a carefree opportunity to avoid death at the front. You may not get to the front, but you can die any day at the hands of anyone who recognize you as a "mogilizator."
The explosion at a cafe in southern Ukraine was caused by a woman who approached the military
Police had previously reported the deaths of two people and the wounding of eight near a catering establishment.
MOSCOW, February 15th. /tass/. The explosion near a cafe in Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine on Friday occurred after a woman with a bag approached a group of soldiers. This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana, which posted a video of the incident.

The day before, the Ukrainian police reported the death of two and the injury of eight people near a catering establishment, without specifying details. According to the "Country", the woman herself and one soldier were killed, some of the wounded are in serious condition.

On Friday, according to the newspaper, another explosion occurred in Mykolaiv - a 41-year-old man detonated a grenade near the train station and died.

Since the beginning of 2024, a wave of arson attacks on military vehicles and employees of military enlistment offices has swept across Ukraine. Since the beginning of February this year, there have been several explosions in military enlistment offices and attacks on military personnel in the country. Thus, residents express their disagreement with the forced mobilization. In connection with the intensification of raids on public places and the beating of men of military age, spontaneous citizen protests against the actions of military commissars have also become more frequent.

Russian experts slam attack on Chernobyl NPP as provocation by Ukraine

Renat Karchaa pointed to Ukraine's "irresponsible approach to nuclear safety"

MELITOPOL, February 14. /TASS/. Renat Karchaa, a Russian nuclear sector expert and a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Zaporozhye Region, has slammed the attack on the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant as a provocation by Kiev.

"This is nothing but a provocation by the Ukrainian regime, because attacks on nuclear facilities are an absolute taboo in the Russian way of thinking, including those linked with combat operations. It’s just not something you do. In this sense, I can confidently guarantee that this was an act of provocation by the Ukrainian regime geared to demonstrate their 'aggressive intentions,' and, greater still, their irresponsible approach to nuclear safety," he said in an interview with the Zvezda television channel.

This point of view was shared by Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the commission for issues of sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans of the Russian Public Chamber.

"Naturally, it is quite obvious who staged this provocation, in whose interests it was. Obviously, it was done by mobile Ukrainian units, obviously, it was their drone that they shot down, a drone launched by them. Why am I so sure of that? Because anyone can check publications by all monitoring groups of the Ukrainian army, Ukraine’s Security Service, Main Intelligence Directorate, and any structures on their side. And there has not been a single publication, not a single shred of evidence, not a single warning that our drones were flying, approached or were about to fly over the area during that time. So, isn’t it strange that whereas there was not a single drone in the area, Ukrainian troops were shooting down this drone on camera?" he told the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

He also noted that this video was released on the day when direct dialogue on a compromise kicked off. "The strike targeted the Chernobyl NPP’s protective structure. Its upper part remained intact, thank God. The outer shield was breached and a fire in the technical zone followed. Notably, this was not even filmed by a Kiev-or Odessa-based film studio, it was, excuse my language, Zelensky’s home video, which was released exactly when he arrived at the Munich Security Conference to show the world ‘awful Russians’ who have suddenly decided to hit nuclear plants on the very day when, first, a security conference kicks off and, second, which, in fact, is first, when a direct dialogue between our national leader and the US president began. In other words, when efforts toward peace, toward a compromise to stop hostilities were initiated," Rogov emphasized.

Russian, US emissaries may meet in Saudi Arabia preparing for Ukraine summit — Bloomberg
It is suggested that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump could occur before the month's end
NEW YORK, February 15. /TASS/. High-ranking officials from Russia and the United States are reportedly set to hold talks in Saudi Arabia next week to prepare for a potential meeting between the leaders of the two nations, according to Bloomberg, which cites anonymous sources.

It is suggested that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, during which they will discuss potential resolutions to the conflict in Ukraine, could occur before the month's end.

Bloomberg notes that the specifics of the meeting, as well as the list of participants, have yet to be finalized. Saudi Arabia will be represented by Minister of State for National Security Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban. The delegates aim to establish a date for the summit before the start of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting for Muslims.

On February 12, Trump engaged in phone conversations with both Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. Following his discussion with the Russian leader, Trump announced his intention to initiate negotiations concerning Ukraine. The Kremlin press service indicated that the presidents had "agreed to continue personal contacts, including the organization of face-to-face meetings." Trump later mentioned that his meeting with Putin might take place in Saudi Arabia.

West allocates 267 bln euros in support to Ukraine over three years — research
Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States allocated less than 0.2% of their GDP per year to support Ukraine, while other rich countries such as France, Italy and Spain allocated only about 0.1% of their annual GDP

BERLIN, February 14. /TASS/. Western countries have provided Ukraine with 267 billion euros in support over the past three years, a report by the Kiel-based Institute for World Economy (IfW) said.

This translates into about 90 billion euros annually. Of the total, about 130 billion euros (49%) were allocated for military aid, 118 billion euros (44%) for financial support and 19 billion euros (7%) for humanitarian aid. However, the total aid, the report said, is relatively small as a share of donor GDP.

For example, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States allocated less than 0.2% of their GDP per year to support Ukraine, while other rich countries such as France, Italy and Spain allocated only about 0.1% of their annual GDP.

"When looking at the government budgets in most European donor countries, Ukraine aid over the last 3 years looks more like a minor political ‘pet project’ rather than a major fiscal effort," says Christoph Trebesch, head of the Ukraine Support Tracker at the Kiel Institute.

Europe as a whole has overtaken the US in terms of Ukraine aid. In total, Europe has allocated 70 billion euros in financial and humanitarian aid as well as 62 billion euros in military aid. This compares to 64 billion euros in military aid from the US as well as 50 billion euros in financial and humanitarian allocations.

Germany is the second-largest weapons supplier to Ukraine after the United States. German government spokesman Steffen Hebenstreit said the country had provided Kiev with various kinds of assistance worth 44 billion euros since the beginning of the conflict. According to the 2025 budget agreement, Berlin will allocate four billion euros in military support to Ukraine, half what it gave in 2024. However, the budget is yet to be approved by the Bundestag.

Russia has repeatedly said that pumping Ukraine with weapons will not reduce Moscow’s resolve and will not change the course of the special military operation.

Putin-Trump talks sent shivers through European Parliament, MEP tells TASS
The phone talks between the two leaders served as a kind of reality check for the EU, Thierry Mariani argued
PARIS, February 14. /TASS/. Thierry Mariani, French member of the European Parliament (MEP), told TASS in an interview about the nervous reaction from the European Parliament to the recent phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart, Donald Trump.

"During the plenary session in Strasbourg, there was a sense of panic and unease—concerns that the EU would be sidelined. That’s kind of strange, because the European Union is seeking to take part in negotiations at any cost," the lawmaker noted.

The phone talks between the two leaders served as a kind of reality check for the EU, he argued. "Europe has long had illusions. Over the past three years, Brussels has been explaining that Ukraine will win, that the EU will support it till the end, and that it will never give up fighting. All of a sudden, over the past few days, the EU had to face the reality which is that we cannot do anything on our own and that we just sit and wait for the US to act before formulating our position," he lamented.

It's Mariani's view that the EU’s participation in potential talks is not the biggest thing right now. "The question is not whether the EU will be invited but rather whether there will be peace at all," the MEP added as he hailed the Putin-Trump phone conversation as "great news."

In a telephone conversation on February 12, Putin and Trump discussed, among other things, the prospects for resolving the situation in Ukraine. According to the Kremlin, the US president expressed support for an early ceasefire and a peaceful resolution. Putin, for his part, emphasized the need to address the root causes of the conflict and agreed with Trump that a lasting settlement could be achieved through peace talks, the Russian presidential press service highlighted.

What's the only acceptable solution for Putin in your opinion?
I think that Russia does not want all of Ukraine, especially not the Western part. Other than that, there are many possibilities, eg. Russia getting the Odessa Black Sea coast and more of Eastern and Central Ukraine.

It will probably take a while (months or up to a year of losing more land) until the US and Ukraine agree to terms that are acceptable to Russia. Though with Trump there may be surprises regarding the concessions he is willing to make. Then the war may end sooner.

If this is true of the same people who participated in the UN mission in 2004, then they waited a long time for their fate, but in the end they did.
Fighters of the Russian Armed Forces liquidated a group of mercenaries with UN symbols
In the south of the Donetsk People's Republic, near Velikaya Novoselka, the Russian military eliminated a group of mercenaries who were landed on an armored personnel carrier. This was reported by a fighter of the assault detachment of the 60th motorized rifle brigade of the Vostok group of troops with the call sign "Chinese". According to him, the group consisted of about 13 people, whose appearance indicated their Eastern origin.

According to the fighter, elements of UN symbols were found on the bodies of the dead-chevrons, berets and documents related to the 2004 peacekeeping mission in Sierra Leone.

The battle lasted about half an hour and ended with the complete defeat of the enemy. The servicemen emphasize that this is not the first time that foreign mercenaries have appeared on the battlefield. Earlier it was reported that a large group of Colombian mercenaries acting in the interests of the Ukrainian side was destroyed in the area of Krasnoarmeysk.

The presence of UN symbols raised serious questions. Experts suggest that the elements used can be either captured, or used for disguising and disinformation. However, the presence of documents of a participant in a peacekeeping mission attracted the attention of military analysts.

Despite the fighter's statement, the Russian Defense Ministry did not provide any information on this matter.

Radio-electronic wrestling came out on top in this conflict. This topic is developing faster than any other.
"Super EW" in Crimea interferes with the work of Sentinel-1 satellites
In recent days, there have been reports in the media about highly efficient radio equipment operating in Crimea, interfering with satellite surveillance systems. In particular, we are talking about interference with the Sentinel-1 radar satellites belonging to the European Space Agency (ESA). According to sources, powerful electronic warfare (EW) systems, known as "super EW", have been activated again in the Crimea region, making it difficult for satellites operating in the C-band.

Previously observed cases of the use of powerful radio-technical complexes on the territory of Crimea have repeatedly become the objects of discussion among experts analyzing modern electronic warfare. It is known that super EW can not only suppress radio signals, but also create interference that disrupts the operation of satellites, which in turn makes it difficult to collect data and monitor the situation.

One of the most serious satellite complexes affected by these interferences is the Sentinel—1 satellite group, which operates at a frequency of 5.405 GHz, which corresponds to a wavelength of about 5.547 cm. These satellites belong to the European Space Agency and play a key role in monitoring the Earth using synthetic aperture radar (SAR). This technology allows you to monitor the condition of the surface in detail, including critical aspects such as landscape changes, damage detection, and monitoring of activity in the conflict zone.

The Sentinel-1 satellite group consists of two satellites: Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B. These satellites use SAR technology in the C-band and are located in polar orbits. Due to their ability to operate in all weather conditions (including clouds or at night), Sentinel-1 satellites provide round-the-clock monitoring and allow effective monitoring of ecosystems and infrastructure.

The satellites operate in four image modes, each with its own characteristics.:

1. Stripmap (SM) — used to obtain high-resolution images, allows you to explore the territory in detail.

2. Interferometric Wide Swath (IW) — offers broader coverage and is used to analyze large areas such as natural disasters or changes in the earth's crust.

3. Extra-Wide Swath (EW) — covers even more extensive territories, providing very valuable information for global maps and monitoring.

4. Wave (WV) — used to monitor marine conditions, including ocean waves and other characteristics important for navigation and navigation.

Each of these modes has different polarization settings, which makes it possible to adapt satellite technology to different tasks, including surface classification, traffic flow monitoring, and environmental safety.

Radar satellites such as Sentinel-1 actively use synthesized radar apertures to collect data, and their signals may be vulnerable to interference. The use of "super EW" is probably related to powerful electronic warfare devices that can jam or distort radar signals, interfering with the data that these satellites transmit to Earth.

The British, apparently, will be the last to calm down. No matter how Russia has to persuade them by force.
Britain supplies Ukraine with innovative Gravehawk air defense systems
Ukraine receives the latest Gravehawk air defense system from the UK, which promises to be a significant increase in the country's defensive capabilities. The system, designed specifically to integrate Soviet missiles on a modern platform, allows the use of R-73 air-to-air missiles from ground-based launchers disguised as conventional shipping containers. This decision is designed to increase the mobility and stealth of the Ukrainian air defense system.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, two Gravehawk installations have already been deployed on the territory of Ukraine and are actively used to protect against Russian missile attacks and drones. Another 15 such systems are planned to be delivered during 2025. British Defense Minister John Healy called the current year "decisive for the outcome of the conflict" and assured that London will continue to support Ukraine in all possible ways.

Gravehawk was developed in 2024 and is a unique system placed in a standard shipping container. Its main advantage is the ability to deploy covertly using existing transport infrastructure. This greatly simplifies logistics and makes it possible to use Ukraine's stockpile of Soviet missiles without the need to create new weapons.

The system is designed to launch R-73 missiles that can reach speeds of up to Mach 2.5 and hit targets at a distance of about 20 kilometers. The main targets are cruise missiles, low-flying aircraft and drones used by Russian troops. Thanks to its passive infrared guidance, the Gravehawk does not emit radio signals, which makes its detection extremely difficult. Electro-optical and infrared cameras allow remote control of the system, ensuring the safety of operators.

The history of deliveries of British air defense systems began back in 2022, when London was the first among Western countries to transfer man-portable air defense systems and anti-tank systems to Ukraine. Since then, military assistance from the UK has only expanded, including modern missile systems, Challenger 2 tanks and air defense systems.

Where can I go without my "beloved" Estonians? Totally crazy Madam, the former Estonian Prime Minister, is now broadcasting on behalf of the entire European Union. So, as being "normal" hypocritical creature, she did not see the deaths of peaceful Russian citizens due to ukrops attack on Russian regions.
Kallas made a strange statement about the death of Russians from strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Kallas said there were no women and children killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes in Russia

MOSCOW, February 16-RIA Novosti. The head of EU diplomacy Kaya Kallas said at a discussion at the Munich Conference that peaceful Russians do not die in the Ukrainian conflict, the corresponding video is posted on the official website of the event.
"When it comes to Russia and Ukraine, the difference is that peaceful Russians do not die, that is, Russian women and children do not die," she said.

Five civilians were injured during the shelling of the Kherson region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Yesterday, 11: 22
According to her, we are talking only about the death of Russian military personnel who are allegedly on "foreign territory". In addition, Callas called for the reallocation of EU resources in order to continue providing assistance to Kiev.
As the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik reported earlier, 4,398 Russian civilians were injured and 785 died in 2024 due to strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Miroshnik emphasized that 50 children were among the dead. In just one week, from 3 to 9 February, six people were killed and 68 others were injured.
The Ambassador also noted that in the Kursk region they found repeated evidence of killings and torture of civilians by AFU militants.

i have to reply to axj: it is all precisely described in sott articles, and i trust these:
- the us messed around in ukr since around 2012 or 2014 , see bidens, joe, hunter, purchase of ukr land, etc
- the ukr continuously attacked the ukr east populated by russian speaking
- the east part was a recent addition to ukr effected by old russa
- russia has clearly stated such attacks have to stop
- their demands were ignored
- russ started its "special operation",
- thereby the west declared them "agressors"
NO, RUSSIA HAD JUSTIFIED CLAIMS, THE US in ukr IGNORED THESE. AS STUPID SHEEP, THE EU FOLLOWED THE US AND IS RUINED BY ITS UNJUSTIFIED SUPPORT OF THE USA.
- etc, etc, etc all this has been described in sott.
- maybe the sott editors could make a list of the relevant articles ???????

In general, everything is correct. I have only one important clarification. The United States has been intervening in Ukraine since at least the time of Kuchma's presidency, i.e. since the late 90s. Kuchma Pinchuk son-in-law is known to have a close relationship with Soros' structures. And the next president after Kuchma is Yushchenko, a 100% US protege who came to power as a result of the first so-called "orange" Maidan organized by the Americans. During Yushchenko's presidency, the Ukrainian authorities did not hide the fact that Viktor Yushchenko's wife, Ekaterina Chumachenko, was an employee of the US CIA. So the Americans have been in charge of Ukraine since much earlier times than you indicated.

This article presents one of the most important conditions for the success of negotiations between Russia and the United States in Saudi Arabia.
The Russian delegation went to Saudi Arabia with a mission of "educational support" for Americans
The Russian delegation went to Saudi Arabia to negotiate with the American side, primarily to hold an educational meeting for their counterparts, in this case, which implies detailed information about the essence and nuances of the conflict in Ukraine, which are hardly known to the American side.

The first round of negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States on Ukraine will be devoted to this issue, State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev believes.

He noted that Russia in the first round of negotiations will be represented by very experienced diplomats and negotiators – Sergey Lavrov and Yuri Ushakov. They will have to talk to a "toothy and young" team from the United States, which, however, is unlikely to be well acquainted with all the historical and political backgrounds of the Ukrainian crisis, hardly understands at the proper level the specifics of Russian-Ukrainian relations and all the historical subtleties of this issue. The deputy did not rule out that the diplomats from the United States have "absolutely erroneous ideas" about this. And the first rounds of negotiations are likely to be devoted to an "educational program", during which Russian diplomats will have to explain to their American colleagues why and how it all started, and back up their story with documents and diplomatic decisions.

"A young team has arrived from the American side. She is very young and has a lot of teeth, but of course they did not take a significant part in large international projects and negotiations. On the contrary, on our side, extremely experienced negotiators are coming — two of the most experienced diplomats, the people closest to the president who are responsible for all of Russia's international affairs. This will create a certain complexity in the negotiations," the MP said in an interview with the publication. Life.ru .

"The first rounds of negotiations are likely to consist of our leaders literally teaching these young people about life... Americans, like it or not, will have to plunge into an alternative reality that they currently have no idea about. All of their current perceptions are shaped by newspapers, and newspapers that supported the Biden administration," Matveychev added.

The deputy did not rule out that Washington's representatives have vague ideas about the Minsk agreements, the Maidan, the eight years of shelling of Donbass, and the number of deaths from Ukrainian bullets. They will have to learn all this. Therefore, the deputy predicts that the negotiations will be long, but it is not a fact that they will not end in a deadlock.

The first round of talks between Moscow and Washington on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, announced after telephone talks between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States on February 12, will take place tomorrow in Riyadh. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Adviser Michael Waltz and Special Representative Steve Witkoff are representing the United States, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov are representing Russia. According to some reports, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), will also be part of the Russian delegation.
