These actions of the Russian forces show one of the possible directions of such a breakthrough. Another possible direction is called Zaporizhia with access to the Sea of Azov.

Russian troops attacked the Chernihiv region, thwarting a possible invasion by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russian armed forces conducted a series of strikes on targets in the northern part of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine. The areas of the city of Koryukovka, where the concentration of Ukrainian forces had previously been noticed, were under the gun.
According to the information, the strikes were aimed at destroying armored vehicles involved in the maneuvers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the enemy's infrastructure. As a result of the attack by Russian aviation and artillery, several armored vehicles were destroyed, including a mobile communications point.

The Koryukovka area attracted the attention of the Russian military after maneuvers involving equipment were recorded there, which were marked with new tactical signs — white squares. This has led to speculation about the preparation by the Ukrainian army of a new breakthrough across the border with Russia.

As previously reported by journalists Avia.pro Before the August invasion of the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used similar tactics, applying white triangles to the equipment. At that time, the maneuvers were also explained by "training actions", but offensive operations soon followed.

Russian strikes have stopped the activities of Ukrainian channels for the transfer of forces and assets to the northern regions of the Chernihiv region bordering the Bryansk region of Russia. This reduces the risk of infiltration by sabotage groups and other threats.

In addition, Russian Geran drones attacked facilities near the city of Priluki. This settlement is located on the key road connecting Kiev with Sumy, which the Ukrainian military actively uses to transfer equipment and personnel to the Kursk direction.

The strikes in the Chernihiv region are part of Russia's broader strategy to deter Ukrainian offensives in the border regions. Foreign instructors were first noticed in the Kursk region
Ukrainian troops on the front line in the Kursk region are using the help of foreign instructors, including from Western countries. This is reported by the Kursk News publication with reference to an officer of the North group of troops with the call sign "Ladya".

According to the officer, this information was confirmed during the interrogation of a British mercenary who first served as an instructor in Western Ukraine, then was transferred to the Sumy region, and after that to the combat area in the Kursk region.

In addition, other Ukrainian military prisoners reported the presence of foreign mercenaries, presumably from Scandinavia, in particular the Danes. However, no documents or other identification marks confirming their citizenship were found.

According to reports, foreign specialists are deployed in the Suji area, where they provide technical support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main tasks of this contingent include:

- construction of minefields in the vicinity of the settlements of Sverdlikovo, Guevo, Sudzha and Malaya Loknya;

- ensuring the operation of Western optical-electronic reconnaissance drones used to monitor the positions of Russian troops.

The use of foreign instructors on the front line is part of the tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine aimed at improving the skills of personnel and improving technical training in conditions of intensification of hostilities.

Experts believe that the involvement of Western specialists indicates the importance of the Kursk direction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the use of foreign specialists raises questions for the Russian command, as it confirms the deep involvement of Western countries in the current conflict, which may contribute to its further escalation.

Многие считают, что укрофашистский режим под руководством клоуна-маньяка, поставившего себя в ситуацию, когда продолжение военных действий практически тождественно продолжению его функционирования, как должностного лица, так и лица физического, может попытаться организовать еще один прорыв на Российскую территорию, как в августе в Курском регионе. Данные действия Российских сил показывают одно из возможных направлений такого прорыва. Другим возможным направлением называют Запорожское с выходом к Азовскому морю.
Данную новость я опубликовал, что называется, для галочки. Очевидно, что чем дольше продолжается конфликт, тем менее боеспособной становится ВСУ. Если еще пару лет назад ВСУ называли одной из сильнейших армий в Европе, то теперь, на фоне огромных потерь, постепенно они превращаются в свою тень и действовать полностью самостоятельно, без внешней поддержки, как материальной, так и живой силой, не способны.

Here is my bet/prediction on one of the possible next steps the Russians could take to send the US/West a message in case Oreshnik was still not enough (which looks like it):

They will use another hypersonic system (that was probably not used yet on the battlefield), or even a modified Oreshnik one, but this time around they increase the range/distance by starting it much further away within Russia, targeting Ukraine. Possibly at some point starting it so far away in Russia that the distance will match a distance to the US mainland from Russia, sending the US the message that it will/can reach them at home pretty quickly too.

After that, the next escalation could be: Sending a whole fleet of those missiles over that distance to Ukraine. And then after that, another escalation could be that they make it clear that they can target the US/West in one go in a first strike scenario, making it impossible for them to even start nuclear weapons and/or making their flight impossible and/or short lived.

All of that could take quite a while though, because the Russians/Putin seem to always play a longer time game.
