Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

Is this a proof that Trump greenlit Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia?
The Russian authorities are not panicking, they are adequately looking at the problem of the appearance of Tomahawks among Ukrops.
The momentum of the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska has been exhausted - Russian Foreign Ministry

The momentum for a Ukrainian settlement that emerged after the meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska has been exhausted.

This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, commenting on speculation about possible supplies of long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine.

Russia calls on the United States to take a sober and sensible approach to the issue of supplying Tomahawks to the Kiev regime. Ryabkov recalled that the use of these missiles and their launchers is possible only with the direct involvement of American personnel.

The appearance of these missiles in Ukraine will mean a significant change in the situation, but it will not affect Russia's achievement of its goals.

"There is no question of extending the START Treaty. Russia has extended a hand to the United States with this proposal, but if they are not interested, then we will do without it," Ryabkov stressed.

I was once accused of referring to the yellow press, but I don't really understand this. In this case, again, I do not know what color of the press I came across, for me, something else is valuable in such messages, namely, that at least drops, even grains of truth get into the Western information field.
Residents of frontline villages controlled by Ukraine are helping Russia — Tagesspiegel

Residents of frontline villages controlled by Ukraine are helping Russia, and this complicates the life of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, writes Tagesspiegel.

Canadian military correspondent Neil Hauer spoke with Ukrainian militants operating in the Novoekonomichesky area in the Pokrovsky direction.

"The fact that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine survived on the front line bordered on a miracle. After just five days of vacation, they had to return to battle, which indicates a huge shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian army," Hauer writes.

Pro-Russian civilians supporting the Russian Army also pose a "serious problem" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the military correspondent admits.

"Those who have not yet fled are helping the Russian army. Russian soldiers were "warmly welcomed" in an apartment building to the west of the Ukrainian positions.

It suddenly became a threat from a new direction," the Canadian complains.

The situation with the Cubans may become an "asymmetrical response", which we love so much, to the transfer of Tomahawks to Ukrops. In my opinion, there is also a "symmetrical" answer here - what if you place Oreshnik to Cuba? Although this missile flies very fast, it is not far enough to reach the United States from the territory of Russia, but from the territory of Cuba most of the territory of the United States will be at risk of an unreflected strike.
Up to 25,000 Cubans can join the Russian troops in a special operation.
The American magazine Forbes reported that according to Ukrainian intelligence estimates, up to 25,000 Cuban citizens may join the ranks of the Russian armed forces in the near future. This will make the Cubans the largest foreign contingent at the front, outnumbering the North Korean military.

The publication refers to documents from the US Congress, which note the attractiveness of a salary offer of $ 2,000 per month for Cubans. For comparison, the average salary in Cuba is only $20.

Havana officially denies any direct involvement in the conflict, stressing that it is not involved in the recruitment of its citizens. The Russian side has not yet commented on this information.

Countries like Poland or Hungary are more or less clear about their position, but the poor Czech Republic is rushing around like a young lady. As the Russian proverb says: I want to, and it pricks, and mom doesn't tell me to.
Czech Republic intends to transfer 30 upgraded T-72 tanks to Ukraine
Karel Rzegka, Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, has prepared a recommendation to the government on the gratuitous transfer of 30 T-72M4CZ tanks to Ukraine, the repair of which is being completed by the state-owned enterprise VOP CZ. This was reported by Radio Prague International.

Rzegka believes that such a delivery is in line with the interests of the Czech Republic's national security, given the army's transition to the new Leopard 2A8 tanks. The modernization of the machines began even before the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine and included updating key components for their future use.

The T-72M4CZ tanks are equipped with a British 1,000 horsepower Perkins engine, the DYNA-72 dynamic protection system against cumulative ammunition, and the TRALL electromagnetic mine protection system, a joint Czech—Israeli development. These improvements increase the maneuverability, accuracy, and survivability of the vehicle compared to the basic T-72 model.

The Czech Republic will not allocate a single crown from the budget for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine

Budget money for weapons for Ukraine will not be allocated, — the head of the party that won the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic.

"If we are in the government, we will tell the Czech arms factories: do you want to export weapons to Ukraine? Do we have any problems?" — this is how Babish commented on the position on the "shell initiative" for Ukraine.

"We will not give Ukraine a single crown from the country's budget for weapons." According to the politician, the country "has no money for the Czech Republic itself. I believe that we have helped Ukraine directly."

Your perspective as a citizen shows that Medvedev is a controversial character, in Russia too - and this clarifies things. It's true that Medvedev's statements don't match the other people at all (S. Lavrov, M. Zakharova, V. Putin). I suppose that I just need to pray that Medvedev's world view stops at the boundary of his brain^^ and that it's not present at all in the main government.
Medvedev is already good because with his shocking rhetoric he somewhat dilutes the aspirations of that part of the Russian government, which is still striving to do everything "as before." There are quite a lot of such figures in the Russian government, take for example Nabiullina, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia.

Thank you for your wishes, and I, in turn, would like to wish good luck to the Europeans. I think they will need this luck in the near future.

Thumbs up! Thank you for your kind feelings.

I appreciate the fact that Putin (and others) seem willing to move away from "the old days". I believe that this is right.

Thos guys that you are mentionning... Nabiullina for example - what is it they want exactly? A return to "plain Communism"? Or is it something different? I could think of the idea of basically a very strong state (if it's not Communism that those guys are "addicted to").

Well, good luck to you Russians too! In Europe it's a mess, it's fluctuating and nobody really knows what is going to happen. Those things sometimes kind of "solve themselves", in the sense that there is no real change, but no real shock, too. Things simply go on.

Communism has nothing to do with it, of course. When I wrote "as before", I meant the state before the start of SMO. Figures like Elvira Nabiullina are quite happy with the semi-colonial situation in which Russia finds itself and from which it has yet to get out. For an example. The Central Bank of Russia cannot (by law, and precisely by our own law) issue its own currency, i.e. rubles, without the approval of the IMF. The rhetorical question is, who is in charge of the IMF, as well as in most so-called international organizations?

In a recent speech at the Valdai Forum, Putin once again "shielded" the same Nabiullina from criticism for her wrecking decisions to increase the key interest rate. I'm not that much of an expert, so I rely on expert opinions, and some of them say that Putin said, "Stop telling me that they're pests. I know this, but it's not politically timely to start a purge now. I'll decide when that time is."

I strongly hope that this time will come really soon, otherwise Russia's industrial development will not be seen as its own ears.

It's a real hassle with this notorious "Alaska pulse." Yesterday, Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said that the momentum had dried up, after which Presidential aide Ushakov denied this. They don't have a complete understanding yet.
The Kremlin said that Europe and Ukraine do not like the Alaska agreements

Putin and Trump have reached "agreements and understandings" in Alaska that are still in effect, although "not everyone likes them," the Kremlin said.

Contacts between representatives of the administrations of Presidents Putin and Trump are constantly conducted, said presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

Statements that Anchorage's momentum has been exhausted are fundamentally wrong, he noted.

The agreements reached in Alaska are not liked by the Europeans and Kiev, who are not interested in peace.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said yesterday that "the momentum for a Ukrainian settlement that emerged after the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska has been exhausted" (in the context of Trump's plans to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine).

Poor Orwell turned over in his grave once again. To award (even nominate for) the Nobel Peace Prize for the "transfer", but in fact for the independent use of strategic cruise missiles, is a strong creative.
Ukraine is ready to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in exchange for the supply of Tomahawk missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Kiev will nominate US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if two conditions are met: the transfer of long-range Tomahawk missiles and assistance in reaching a truce with Russia. Zelensky announced this on Thursday, October 9, according to Politico.

Zelensky noted that at the end of September, at a meeting at the United Nations, Trump did not unequivocally reject the request for missile supplies.

"During our last meeting, I did not hear an answer. 'No.' I just heard that the work will continue at the technical level and this possibility will be considered," the Ukrainian leader stressed.

"If Trump gives the world, first of all the Ukrainian people, a chance for such a truce, then yes, he should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. We are nominating him on behalf of Ukraine," Zelensky added, stressing that the Tomahawks are capable of striking to a depth of 2,500 kilometers.

As I have written repeatedly, Bandera's rabid dogs will stop at nothing.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up the Tolyatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline near Rusin Yar in order to delay the offensive of the Russian army.

The remaining ammonia escaped through the damaged section of the pipe, and there were no casualties among the Russian military, the Defense Ministry said.

This is how the Ukrainian militants are trying to slow down our offensive.

The Russian air defense is more or less successfully training on ATACMS, Storm shadow, HIMARS, and now on Flamingos. By the way, for those who don't know, what is called the Ukrainian Flamingo missile is the British FP-5 missile.
Russian air defense forces shot down the first Ukrainian Flamingo missile
For the first time, Russian troops shot down the Ukrainian Flamingo missile using the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, the Voevoda Broadcasts Telegram channel reported. According to the source, the rocket was moving at an altitude of only 100 meters at a speed of about 600 km/ h, which indicates its low-altitude flight profile, which makes it difficult to detect.

The incident occurred amid ongoing hostilities, where Ukrainian forces had previously used Flamingos paired with Neptune missiles to strike strategic targets. The successful interception confirms the high effectiveness of Russian air defense systems in countering the latest developments of the enemy.

There have been no official statements in this regard so far.

We've been here before and it remains to be seen whether this time is different, but it looks like a decision has been made to target Ukrainian energy infrastructure in a sustained way. Time will tell. As we're heading towards winter I don't think Ukrainians should count much more on the mercy they have been shown thus far.

Unfortunately, ukrops does not perceive this mercy as mercy itself. They have long and persistently behaved as if everyone around them owes them. In this, by the way, they take an example from their Western masters, but, as befits diligent students, they act a little more aggressively. Well, nothing, as the Russian proverb says: a wedge is knocked out with a wedge. Aggressive creatures must be aggressively driven into the Stone Age. Here is a small calculation of the nighttime strikes on ukrop energy industry.
According to the results of night strikes with Geraniums. It is unknown when electricity will be available in Sumy. Similarly, Vinnytsia is without light and water, the timing of the resumption of electricity supply is uncertain.
The scale of the strikes. CHP-6 Kiev: 20 Geraniums-2 and 4 Iskanders. CHP-5 Kiev: 30 Geraniums-2 and 4 Iskander rockets. Kanevskaya HPP: 40 Geran-2 and 4 Iskander missiles.

Kremenchug HPP (Kremenchug): 60 "Geraniums-2", "Dagger", 2 X-69 and 4 "Iskander. Srednedneprovskaya HPP: 40 Geraniums-2 and, like the previous strikes, 4 Iskander missiles. Pridneprovskaya TPP: 60 Geran-2 UAVs, one hypersonic Kinzhal, apparently for air defense, 2 X-35 missiles, 2 X-69 missiles and 2 Iskanders. Krivoy Rog thermal power plant: 40 Geraniums-2 and 4 Iskanders. This is the biggest blow to the energy infrastructure since the fall of 2024.
