pyramids in Shensi China

I'm just wondering if anyone's heard of these pyramids in Shensi China? Here's a Google Earth view I just took:

Here's the google link, if you'd like to verify: _https://maps.google.com/maps?q=34°+26'+00%22+N+%2F+108°+52'+36%22+E&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=34.435163,108.878647&spn=0.00515,0.009152&sll=34.143635,109.127197&sspn=0.997898,2.342834&t=f&z=17&ecpose=34.43725685,108.87760253,1078.53,157.628,22.094,0

I heard about this listening to an old documentary it looks like it was produced in the 60s or 70s by a guy called Jonathan Gray and I thought if it exists it might show on Google maps, turns out it is (as above). Here's the bit where he talks about it. _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiUH1sRdIVg#t=28m19s

Apparently it's taller than the Empire State Building. Seems to indicate it's very large on the angle view on Google Earth. Curious if you guy's have come across this and know any more info. Thanks!

Yes it's known and has been discussed on this forum, but I have yet to find the one "taller than the Empire State Building". They are aplenty and some really large but most (if not all) are made of earth, not stone. Therefore they're generally quite low compared to the breadth of the base. But being low doesn't mean they are small or lesser feats of engineering skill, quite the opposite in some cases I would say. Think mass.

Cheers for that. Did a search beforehand for china pyramid, shensi pyramid but didn't find it. Maybe it's called something else or if you already know a link to the thread that you could add, please do, would like to read something more about it. Thank you.

Google earth gives a deceptively large scale to these constructions when you compare with the modern buildings nearby. Anyway, does seem to be a feat doing this with dirt mounds especially with retaining what looks like sharp edges (considering weathering etc.). Interesting stuff.

It seems that there are pyramid's around the world on many places.

This is located in Bosia near town of Sarajevo

You can visit the site there are photos and information about all but they can not explore it more as there is some legal problem with European Union and UNESCO because of an old city on top.

I have been there and saw it and can tell only what I have saw and this looks like it was hand made. Many tunnels areas around and etc..

Also the guy who leads this project told us that there can be around 300 pyramid's in China and many many around the world

It has been fleetingly mentioned but not thoroughly discussed on this forum but this could be a starter for You; __http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_pyramids

Only looking at it from above(goggle earth) gives, IMO, the true scope of the building process because the sheer number of buildings is just one aspect (Egypt doesn't even come close in that respect) but there are also really big projects dispersed in between.

The 'think mass' part makes one think, indeed :O

Last summer I had an occasion to discuss the origins of the piramyds, in general, with my good friend who studies archeology.
It always struck me how well impregnated he appeared to the idea that not even as far as ET's, but anything in any way more advanced than our current civilization could have taken place in the past that engineered those constructions, but this time around, something chipped away.
Using his mobile internet I brought him to Bosnian piramyds he's never heard of, after much protesting about the idea that these hills might not just be hills, and viewing some professional Archeologist's opinions backing the idea they could be more than that, there was silence and confusion. He stood his ground of conservative academic approach but I could see in his eyes what I would call a sort of 'domino effect', now I'm curious about how this will evolve as we get the chance to talk only every few months.

Here we go again.. ;)

Also the C's in some session mentioned crystal pyramids that might come out during the 'opening up' of the earth..

You could introduce him to Christopher Dunn's work, that would make him "chip away" even more ;)
Funny he should get exited about the Bosnian pyramids, because they are not, IMO, proven to be artificially made... yet. The pyramids at Giza have anomalies all around and inside them. For example take a look at this; __http://www.gizapower.com/pma/index.htm

By the way, the Bosnian Pyramids were and are discussed in this thread:
