Question about forum name conflict

Webmasters/Admins:

This isn't a huge deal, but I thought I'd ask anyways just to see.

I would like to change my forum name to just "ryan" and when I go to browse or search for members, I don't find anybody using that name. However, when I try to change my name to "ryan", it says the name conflicts with an existing account. Is this name reserved for somebody or perhaps used by somebody in the past that is no longer here? If it's not possible to change this, I'll just keep my name as is.

Hi RyanX,

Yes, there is someone with the registered username as Ryan although the displayed name is something else, hence the error message that you received. I guess you'll just have to stick to RyanX. :)
